Valley View Stables is located just 10 minutes from downtown Syracuse, NY and provides a beautiful setting for boarding your horse or learning to ride. We have an ideal location with scenic views of the grand valleys south of the city. Our facilities include a barn with 18 box stalls for boarding horses, an indoor riding arena that permits riding year round, and a large outdoor riding arena where you can enjoy our view as you ride.

A passionate and accomplished horse rider, trainer, and teacher with decades of experience, Valerie is dedicated to helping horses and their riders reach their full potential. Her training philosophy is rooted in understanding the natural instincts and needs of horses, promoting willing, confident, and happy partnerships. From lessons and clinics to training and judging services, Valerie offers a holistic approach with a strong emphasis on in-hand and ground work to foster balance and confidence in horses. As a saddle fitter and trainer, she provides a unique advantage in finding the perfect saddle fit for your horse, ensuring their comfort and well-being. From intro to Grand Prix, all breeds and disciplines encouraged and welcomed. Valerie has ridden internationally and had the amazing opportunity to train in Portugal. Having made her own horses and competing through FEI, Valerie offers the unique insights from developing horses from backing to Grand Prix.

Individualized care is important to you and to us. We are an 18 stall horse boarding facility that offers 30 acres of well-maintained grass pasture for turnout. Nutrena grain twice a day, including supplements purchased by owner
Hay fed four times a day
Turnout and turn in in lush green pastures with wood fencing

Cross country course available. For safety, rider needs to be in a lesson with our trainer

Heritage Stables currently has stalls open and available for boarding. Heritage Stables is a hunter/jumper show stable offering full care boarding. Stalls are all 12'x12' with unlimited bedding. Heritage Stables offers a very spacious indoor arena (80'x200') with a heated viewing room. We also have two beautiful outdoor arenas (120'x350' and 110'x250') with a gorgeous view of Skaneateles. We offer daily turnout- horses can be put in a group or have single turnout. Heritage Stables also offers two full-time professional riding instructors from beginners to nationals. We also offer full training board for horses and ponies. We range from breaking to giving your show horse a "tune up".
