RiverHorse Farm is a family-owned horse boarding and training facility in North Salem, NY that has been run by three generations of the Finlay family for over 25 years.

Our prices include NYS sales tax and are currently:
$1840 per month for stall board (including sales tax)
$1100 per month for pasture board (including sales tax)

RiverHorse offers experienced care by trained equine professionals in a traditional setting. The farm includes stabling for 30 horses in spacious rubber-matted stalls and over 20 turnout paddocks on 50 acres. We take pride in having created a friendly and supportive environment where everyone from casual trail riders to passionate dressage, eventing, or hunter/jumper competitors can enjoy their horses and their sports to the fullest. Situated on rolling North Salem hills and fields only one hour from New York City, the facilities include a gorgeous state-of-the-art covered ring and two outdoor jumping and dressage arenas. The property also has direct access to the beautiful North Salem Bridle Trail system and a large cross country schooling field. Fun and relaxed barn on 50 acres has 80 x 200 indoor with travelrite footing, 100x 220 outdoor , dressage arena, cross country course, on the bridle trails, large stalls with open windows , good turnout.

Boots and Saddles Boarding Facility is located along the shawangunk mountains. We are on 110 acres with trails out back. We have 27 stalls which are very airy, matted and have automatic heated Nelson waterers and feeders. The barn has automatic Pyrahna fly spray system. Large outdoor riding ring with sprinkler system and lights. Barns have rubber pavers which is great on your horse no stress of standing on concrete. We use streufex horse bedding along with nice non-dusty sawdust. Stalls and water are cleaned daily, We have nice quality hay and grain. Your horses are pampered here as if there our own. Board includes Blanketing, Fly masks and sheets, Boots, Hosing off on hot days. Night turnout on hot buggy days. Too much to list, I can go on and on.
