A passionate and accomplished horse rider, trainer, and teacher with decades of experience, Valerie is dedicated to helping horses and their riders reach their full potential. Her training philosophy is rooted in understanding the natural instincts and needs of horses, promoting willing, confident, and happy partnerships. From lessons and clinics to training and judging services, Valerie offers a holistic approach with a strong emphasis on in-hand and ground work to foster balance and confidence in horses. As a saddle fitter and trainer, she provides a unique advantage in finding the perfect saddle fit for your horse, ensuring their comfort and well-being. From intro to Grand Prix, all breeds and disciplines encouraged and welcomed. Valerie has ridden internationally and had the amazing opportunity to train in Portugal. Having made her own horses and competing through FEI, Valerie offers the unique insights from developing horses from backing to Grand Prix.

Individualized care is important to you and to us. We are an 18 stall horse boarding facility that offers 30 acres of well-maintained grass pasture for turnout. Whether you are a competitor or enjoy a quiet setting for you and your horse, you will enjoy our friendly, caring atmosphere. All disciplines welcome.

We are located just 15 minutes from Syracuse or 15 minutes from Auburn at 1695 Stump Rd. Marcellus, NY

Board includes:
Nutrena grain twice a day, including supplements purchased by owner
Hay fed four times a day
Turnout and turn in in lush green pastures with wood fencing
Blanketing and fly spraying
Full use of: dust free indoor arena, dust free outdoor arena, grass arena, and bridle paths
Stadium jump course.
Two full size dressage rings
Cross country course available. For safety, rider needs to be in a lesson with our trainer

We are a family orientated farm on 30 acres of beautiful pastures and woods. We currently can house 12 horses. we provide a safe and secure environment for your horse as well as individualized care. We have 10x10 stalls in main barn and 12x12 stall in a second barn. We are close to the Oswego/Cayuga County trails, we have some short trails on premises. If you enjoy riding the roads they are quite with minimal traffic. We provide full board at $400 a month which included daily turnout, 2x day feeding, hay, stalls cleaned. Heritage Stables currently has stalls open and available for boarding. Heritage Stables is a hunter/jumper show stable offering full care boarding. Stalls are all 12'x12' with unlimited bedding. Heritage Stables offers a very spacious indoor arena (80'x200') with a heated viewing room. We also have two beautiful outdoor arenas (120'x350' and 110'x250') with a gorgeous view of Skaneateles. We offer daily turnout- horses can be put in a group or have single turnout. Heritage Stables also offers two full-time professional riding instructors from beginners to nationals. We provide full and transient board.
We have a Trainer/Instructor who specializes in Hunter, Jumper and Equitation. She also teaches beginner Western.
Full Board includes a 12 x 12 rubber matted stall, pasture turn out and bring in, feeding of hay and grain 2 times per day as well as owner provided supplements, daily stall cleaning, wood shavings for bedding, fresh water daily, one tack locker per stall, and the use of our 120 x 60 indoor riding arena. Horse trailer parking is available for an additional fee. Along with a signed boarding contract we can provide trailering for your horse if it is located within a reasonable distance for an additional fee. The monthly boarding fee is $378.00 including tax. Trailer parking fee is $10.80 including tax.
Transient Boarding is for those folks who are traveling with their horses and want or need to give them a break the trailer. Transient boarding includes a 12 x 12 rubber matted with wood shavings for bedding stall, fresh water, pastureand for a small additional fee, grain and hay $5.40 (tax included). We gladly feed your grain, hay and supplements at no additional cost. There is good parking for your truck and trailer for $5.40 per night not to exceed $10.80 per stay. We can also provide water and electricity for $5.40 per day. Hotels/Motels and food are available with in a 14 mile radius. Transient board he t fee is $27.00 including tax per day per horse.
