Our facility was custom designed to fit the needs of discriminating horse owners in Central Ohio by John T Lucas, the Vice-President of Wilson Hill Stables.

Construction began in 2007 and was completed in the spring of 2008. The barn is centered around the climate controlled Tack Room, Restrooms, Future Office, and the Viewing Lounge that overlooks the attached Indoor Arena.

Classic Equine Stalls, a premier provider of quality equestrian products, produced our stalls for us with each featuring ¾ Rubber Mats, Automatic Waters, Swing out feed door with rubber feeder, and a sliding door with a drop down yoke for socializing.

We chose to keep the barn open and breezy with grilled dividers between stalls. This helps the horses interact and also improves circulation in warmer weather.

The facility also includes a wash rack station with two individual hot & cold water bathing areas and well maintained and managed turnouts.

Durkee Hill Stables is a newly renovated 19 stall facility with 10 lush grass pastures, all weather turnouts, an all weather riding arena, cross country schooling course and miles of trails. Lana purchased the neighboring property to increase turnout and expand the useable space for her horses and riders. The views are gorgeous and the atmosphere of Durkee Hill Stables makes it a place that you want to spend time at.

Lana likes to take advantage of the many amenities around the farm. She regularly takes her horses and students cross country schooling at several local cross country courses.
