We are located in the beautiful picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the UpCountry in Spartanburg, South Carolina. However, we are within close proximity of Greenville, Greer, Gaffney, Landrum, Campobello, Clinton, South Carolina, and Tryon and Columbus, North Carolina. We own our own horses and live on the property. We have two veterinarians on call, and also offer a group discount farrier service from a trained and certified farrier. Horses receive a well-rounded education through cross training and relaxing hacks out of the arena setting. This keeps the horses fresh and happy in their work. Each horse receives a program tailored to fit the individual needs of the equine athlete.

We believe competitions provide a goal to work toward. Whether your focus is on riding in your first show, aspiring to compete at a rated show, or to some day ride at the Advanced levels of Eventing or Dressage, we know equine competition is one of the rare and unique sports that is not just about winning, but about the process. Jenny Fair is an ICP level I certified instructor through the United States Eventing Association and has been training, teaching and coaching professionally for over 15 years. Jenny Fair is the head trainer at Elhanan Equestrian, and previously Jenny taught at Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center, preparing students for a career in the horse industry in jumping, dressage and western disciplines. With an emphasis on correct classical training of horse and rider, Jenny is very passionate about developing a strong bond between horse and rider and is happy to work riders of all levels and disciplines.

We live on the property so we can watch over the horses here and make sure all is alright.
Things are constantly changing here from upgrades to stalls to upgrades of pastures. We have obstacles for those who ride NATRC or just want to play with their horse. Also, we have added lights on our trails outback for nighttime riding.

S.P.S. Farm is a private full care facility.No pasture boarding. It boasts a beautiful Morton barn with 9 spacious stalls. Each stall has a private window over looking the property. At SPS Farm every horse is monitored throughout the day and the owner lives onsite. Due to the love and constant attention each horse receives at SPS Farm we often joke that SPS stands for Spoiled and Pampered by Slaves! Here at SPS Farm we are completely dedicated to each individual horses’ care and well-being.
All horses are turned out daily,
except in inclement weather. Stalls are cleaned daily. Horses are fed twice a day in accordance to each horses’ individual needs. We feed Triple Crown Feed, which we believe to be top of the line, however our boarders are welcome to customize their horses feed as necessary. Copious amounts of fescue hay is given daily. However we will feeda different hay (provided by owner). We bed our stalls with a beautiful quality pine sawdust which we find provides a warm bed in the winter and allows us to best keep each stall clean and sanitary.
