We are a small boarding farm and stalls are provided for each horse. Turnout after feeding into around 20 acres. Grain of your choice provided. Coastal hay round bales are accessible 24/7 in winter and as needed in summer. Farrier is scheduled every seven weeks or you may schedule your own. Vet and farrier expenses are owners’ responsibility. We schedule spring and fall shots with our vet. Owners live on premises. Trails from barn available. Outside trailer storage available. Are you looking for equine boarding with high quality care? Then you are looking for us! Chapel Ridge Farm is an exceptional, 24 acre equestrian facility. Only a short distance from Charleston and a few minutes from Summerville. We meet your horse’s needs in our new barn and each has a designated stall. Daily turn out in gender specific grass pastures with horse fencing and large, grassy paddocks. During the summer months, horses are kept in the barn during the day with a fan in their stall and turned out at night. During the winter months, horses are kept in the warm, cozy barn at night and turned out during the day to enjoy the sunshine. Each stall includes an automatic watering system, pine shavings, and rubber mats for your horse’s comfort and safety in mind. We have a hot/cold water wash rack for your grooming needs. We will blanket, fly spray, and fly mask your horse at no additional charge, but you must provide those items. We feed high quality hay and Triple Crown feed 2 x a day. Each horse is evaluated for its individual needs.

Pamela brings 24 years of professional equine experience to the Lowcountry. She has raised Russian/Polish Arabians and shown in Class “A” Arabian shows at Clemson, Columbia, Raleigh, and many parts of Florida. We are now offering lessons.

We are the only place in Aiken that you and your horse can relax and stay together at one place. We provide rooms for our human guests as well as stalls for our horse guests.

Fiddle Creek Farm is an equine retirement home. Pasture board is recommended as many seniors have arthritis. Each 3 acre paddock has a three-sided run in. All horses are brought into the barn and fed twice daily. Stalls are a roomy 16x16 with mounted fans with misters. Horses will be stalled during inclement winter weather.
Boarding fee is $200 per month. This includes quality senior feed supplemented with soaked shredded beet pulp and soaked alfalfa cubes as most senior horses are no longer able to effectively chew grass or hay. Hay is given even if they are only able to quid their forage. Hooves are trimmed every 4 weeks during the summer and every 6 weeks during winter. Twice yearly veterinarian visits for vaccinations, boosters, rabies and pulling of Coggins are billed to the owners.
The owner, a certified ARIA barn manager, has worked extensively rehabbing and caring for rescued horses during the last 12 years. As a result she is very aware of the needs and care of older horses.
