We are a 280 ac farm, adults only, no drama. Located between Orange and Gordonsville, 25 miles from Charlottesville. Low key barn where horses can be horses and their humans can enjoy them. Outdoor 85x150 sand arena w/jumps, 70x135 indoor arena with mirrors, lights w/ sand and Lightfoot footing. Miles of well-groomed wooded trails right on the property. Field board only. Horses are fed 1x per day, and owner-supplied supplements. Creature comforts for humans and tack, too.

We are at exit 211 in New Kent right off interstate 64. Full board each month is $600, there are 5 stalls available then you will be put on a wait list. Stalls cleaned twice daily (or as needed). We provide feed (to be discussed) and hay (to be discussed). If your horse/horses are on supplements we will make sure they get them daily/as needed. Turn in during the day/night (whichever you prefer), if you prefer one of these options. Each horse will have their own stall. We have a lighted riding ring (you can ride day/night). The facility sits on 75 acres surrounded by Farmington Hunt territory and adjacent to a top level eventing barn. For the last 15 years we have been specializing in detailed senior care for retired hunter jumpers. These horses receive the best in care and attention. Under our watchful eye we manage for your horse, administration of treatments or meds as per veterinarian and/or farrier instructions. Comprehensive daily grooming, hand walking and/or turn out as needed. Development and implementation of individual treatment/fitness/nutrition plan

The PJ Williams 14-stall custom structure is centrally located on the property and offers many options that a foaling mare or injured horse on its way to recovery will need. It is within the close service range to four or more veterinary hospitals.
The barn itself has an indoor track for walking and jogging with stalls in the center. There is an efficient 4-fan ventilation system in the roof that pulls air up and out in the hot weather. Radiating out from the barn are many options for private turn out that can be large or small, pasture or dry lot, most with run in sheds and fans. The stalls are 12 x 12 with several 12 x 24 foaling stalls and an observation room. Fencing is horse-safe woven Kentucky Diamond wire with top boards.

Westwood Stables is a 65 acre horse farm located off Rt 1 in the Fredericksburg/Massaponax area.

Facilities Include: Lighted Indoor Riding Arena, Large Outdoor Riding Arena, footed 55ft round pen, and plenty of space to hack out with trails. Tack rooms are air conditioned and heated. Both barns have wash stalls (hot water!). Bathroom located in main barn.

Westwood is a 16 stall facility and offers multiple field board spots as well as private field board. Trainer on site with background of hunters/ western pleasure/working equitation/dressage. Actively competing and showing monthly at schooling and rated shows with students.

Our horses in training go to horse shows and trailering is available to boarders who desire to go to the same shows or even different ones.
