We are a family owned boarding facility that mainly caters to trail riders. Our property is located with access to two major state trails for miles of riding. We offer rough board with shelters, large seasonal pastures ( horses are turned out daily, seasonally), outdoor arena, round pen, and personalized care for your horse. All breeds and disciplines welcome. We offer a barn farrier, vet , and dentist, but you're also welcome to use your own. We strive for a friendly, drama free atmosphere. We also set up group rides, and several other horse related activities throughout the year. ScotLyn Farm & Stables LLC Boarding facility completely transitioned to "slow hay net feeding systems" in all of our hay feeders, in April 2024. Slow net feeding generally provides hay in front of horses 24/7/365 and aids in healthy digestion, healthy stimulation, and helps prevents horses from having an empty stomach for long periods of time. It is also believed that slow net feeding aids the reduction of ulcers, colic and promotes constant chewing. Slow feed hay nets are also a great way for horse owners to help their horses maintain mental stimulation. These nets are designed to slow the eating process, extending the eating time which promotes saliva production. It is well believed that Saliva is a buffer that helps protect a horse from ulcers, colic, and other stomach issues. Slow hay feeding nets can also help reduce boredom or vices arising from too much time on their hands.
