Sterling Acres is located on acres land surrounded by DNR forest near Random Lake, WI. We offer Hybrid Stall Board with continuous access to hay via slow feeders in dry lots and rotated pasture in warmer months with grain fed 2X per day in assigned stalls with the option to feed soaked grain. Stalls available for overnight in negative temps or if medical need arises. We believe that continuous turnout is best for the minds, gut, joints and hooves. Front Barn is attached to the 66x100 Indoor sand Arena with a large mixed herd turnout (up to 12) in a dry lot with multiple feeders and shelters and our Back Barn, closer to the Outdoor arenas (100x200 sand and 66x120 grass) has small mixed herd turnout (up to 5) each with a shelter and multiple slow feed stations. We have two openings for horse boarding. Large box stalls 11 x 13 to our smallest which is 10 x 11 feet. Stalls are all rubber matted and cleaned daily. Grain and hay is feed twice a day. Vitamins, soybean oil and worming are included. Our indoor arena is 60 x 150”. The indoor arena has excellent footing and the lighting is great. We have very dust problems in the arena which is great for horse and rider both. There are heated water tanks in the pasture with very safe fencing. Number of horses are limited to three a pasture. Limited trail riding is available when weather permits. We are a small family run stable. Only 12 horses are on the property. This means when you want to get some work done in the arena you don’t have to worry about a crowd. Horse transportation is available. Board is $235 to $250 a month.
