Oxbow Stables of Hamburg, NJ, home of the educated rider, celebrates its 50th year of teaching proper horsemanship.Oxbow stables is a hands-on environment for people who love horses. The main disciplines consist of Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping, but all horse people are welcome. A Saturday program is offered for young equestrians ages 6 to 17, in which students have a weekly class and are taught from the United States Pony Club Manual. Oxbow Stables, Inc. is a United States Pony Club Center, (official or recognized) and is also the proud home of the Oxbow Raiders 4-H Club since 1963, one of the oldest clubs in New Jersey. The club meets twice a month. In addition to a riding lesson, students work in the barn to learn horse care and grooming.
