A passionate and accomplished horse rider, trainer, and teacher with decades of experience, Valerie is dedicated to helping horses and their riders reach their full potential. Her training philosophy is rooted in understanding the natural instincts and needs of horses, promoting willing, confident, and happy partnerships. From lessons and clinics to training and judging services, Valerie offers a holistic approach with a strong emphasis on in-hand and ground work to foster balance and confidence in horses. As a saddle fitter and trainer, she provides a unique advantage in finding the perfect saddle fit for your horse, ensuring their comfort and well-being. From intro to Grand Prix, all breeds and disciplines encouraged and welcomed. Valerie has ridden internationally and had the amazing opportunity to train in Portugal. Having made her own horses and competing through FEI, Valerie offers the unique insights from developing horses from backing to Grand Prix.

Individualized care is important to you and to us. We are an 18 stall horse boarding facility that offers 30 acres of well-maintained grass pasture for turnout. Whether you are a competitor or enjoy a quiet setting for you and your horse, you will enjoy our friendly, caring atmosphere. All disciplines welcome.

We are located just 15 minutes from Syracuse or 15 minutes from Auburn at 1695 Stump Rd. Marcellus, NY

Board includes:
Nutrena grain twice a day, including supplements purchased by owner
Hay fed four times a day
Turnout and turn in in lush green pastures with wood fencing
Blanketing and fly spraying
Full use of: dust free indoor arena, dust free outdoor arena, grass arena, and bridle paths
Stadium jump course.
Two full size dressage rings
Cross country course available. For safety, rider needs to be in a lesson with our trainer
Stalls cleaned each day; picked out at night check
Three season wash stall with hot and cold water

Hamilton Hill Stables is a private 8-stall boarding facility just minutes from Alfred University and Alfred State College. We specialize in giving every horse the highest quality care. Each horse receives low starch hard feed and good quality hay according to their individual needs. Horses are turned out for 12-24 hours a day.
