Our boarding stable a small 13 horse, quality run, family facility. We pride ourselves on a very friendly atmosphere. Our stable is located on in N.Canton, just south of Walsh College .We have a very nice heated wash bay, office and tack rooms. Each stall has 20" box fan mounted on each stall for comfort on summer evenings. Overhead music/radio on from 7 to 8:30 daily in stall area & arena. We are sitting on a 250-acre beautiful Farm. We are a partial care facility with 12 x 12 open and breathable stalls with daily turnout. We offer boarding,training and lessons on your horse or a school horse. Our scenic location allows for easy access to major highways. Students have the opportunity to compete in Dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers or just relax on nearby trails. We approach the welfare of horses and riders in a holistic fashion, treating each as an individual. With an emphasis on correct biomechanics for both the human and equine, we strive to educate riders on how control and awareness of their body allows for high quality movement and clearer communication between rider and horse, as well as an increase in the quality of their daily life. Unmounted lessons for riders are offered using exercises from Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais and the Alexander technique. Lessons can be video taped for review with the instructor right on the property. Legacy Equestrian Center is seated on 142 picturesque acres in Chesterland, Ohio, we are a multidiscipline training and boarding facility. Surrey Hill Ranch is a small private family-owned stable located in the southwest quadrant of Massillon, Ohio, close to the Route 30 overpass on 17th Street SW (previously known as Carmont Avenue SW). It sits nestled amongst neighboring farms and green pastures. The rising mist from the pond can be seen in the early morning hours against a backdrop of rolling hills and trees. The silence is broken as the birds begin their morning chorus. The ducks move effortlessly gliding across the lake leaving only small ripples in their wake. This country setting is quiet and tranquil and the hooves from the horses can be heard as they are let out to pasture.
