Now accepting full care horse boarding at a fabulous barn close in to Portland, Sherwood, Wilsonville, etc! This is a professional and friendly facility where your horse will be treated like one of our own. Each 12' x 12' matted stall has its own 100' all weather run with Dutch door. BOx stalls are also available. Your horse will love the daily group or private turnout in the 14 acres of grass pastures.

Attached to the barn is a large indoor arena that is groomed and watered daily. There is also a large outdoor ring on sunny days and trails through the woods around the property for those days you want out of the arena.

Enjoy the beautifully remodeled tack room with space to clean your equipment and a lovely, clean restroom. Hot water wash rack with mats.

Full care includes daily stall cleaning, 7 days a week pasture turnout, high-quality hay fed three times a day. Blanketing and fly masks on/off. We will feed your grain and supplements. Professional management and staff, experienced owner on site.


Training is not required but if you're interested in dressage, our on-site trainer, Pippa Sowers, is passionate about Nuno Oliveira's and Philippe Karl's understanding of French classical dressage. She offers lessons and training that's rooted in her experience with Bettina Drummond, Andre Ganc, Carol McArdle, Regina Agren and Ross Harper-Lewis (in France) as well as Bertrand Ravoux as part of the Ecole de Légèreté. B&G Stables is a well founded self care barn in Newberg, OR. We have twenty-one roomy stalls as well as eight large and two small turn outs. Two wash racks & two tackrooms are also available. There is an indoor arena that is kept well groomed for training and workouts. Barn hours are 5am to 10pm Mon-Sat and Sun by appointment. Boarders have access to the property 5am to 10pm seven days a week as well as late hours for picking up and returning from events. Tack rooms are kept locked and only management and boarders have keys. Wash racks have hot and cold running water. We do Dressage,English,Western,a little Jumping we have every thing availble to do jump though. We are also the home of B.E.A.T Riding center. B.E.A.T. Riding Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals an opportunity for emotional and physical growth through horsemanship.

Phyllis Herinckx and Jackie Hopper founded BEAT in 1997 when they were inspired by the dramatic physical and cognitive improvements made by Bradley, a student with cerebral palsy and learning impairments, through horse back riding. Phyllis and Jackie wanted to start a program that could help others reap the benefits from therapeutic riding.

Today BEAT serves over 30 disabled riders each week, including riders from Portland and all over Washington County. We also provide instruction to groups from the YWCA, Head Start and the school districts of Forest Grove, Beaverton and Hillsboro. Riders at BEAT include individuals with a wide range of disabilities including Downs syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. BEAT is a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) and abides by the association's guidelines for safety and operation.


Our primary funding source is individual contributions. As a federally tax-exempt charitable organization, most of the donations that support BEAT are tax-deductible.

We currently have three instructors. Two of our instructors are certified by NARHA and one is in training. The NARHA certification process tests the applicants' knowledge and skills in the areas of equine management, horsemanship, instruction, teaching methodology and disabilities.The "tools" of the BEAT program are seven highly trained and carefully chosen horses and ponies.

The riders and instructors of BEAT rely on volunteers to make the center a success. Horse experience is needed to lead horses, but not for most of the

We are a 25-horse riding lesson and boarding facility in Aurora on 24 peaceful acres. Our horses enjoy 12 x 12 stalls that open into pipe corral paddocks, and 12 x 12 stalls with outside windows. We treat our horses to turn-out on large grassy fields with safe fencing in Spring through Fall. Our well-lit indoor arena is 72 x 144 and our outdoor arena is 80 x 160 with sand footing. We also have a large sand round-pen and some wooded trails to ride. Other amenities include hot water wash rack, locking tack lockers, heated tack room, grooming stalls, and free trailer parking.
