Shared barn - looking for someone with 2 horses! $350 per month, 1 year contract required.

This is a really peaceful, family based atmosphere. Here you will find a well loved little red barn, behind a beautiful white country home where a loving older couple lives on site. The barn has stalls, an attached run in for shelter/shade, a tack room, and lots of storage for hay. You will find chickens, neighboring cows, and likely a happy Golden Retriever will great you often. Most days however you will find it is a very quiet place, when you can come and enjoy just being with your horse in solitude.

While the couple that lives on the farm has eyes on the horses daily, this is a self care facility, they do not tend to the horses. There are only 4 horses allowed on site, and so I am looking to share the stable with another 2 horses. The horses would live out in one large pasture with 2 well behaved others, and have access to water and shade - and lots of grass. The stalls are to use at your leisure, and responsibilities of watering and cleaning up after the horses is shared between boarders. We are a barn of trail riders, and often trailer out to Croft state park (30 min), and join many of the Western Carolina Hunter Pace rides also.

The pasture is 10 acres or more and will never be overgrazed. We do not grain the horses except for sometimes during the winter months. Hay is purchased and shared between the boarders during the winter. We have a large grass riding pen, with some jumps to enjoy. There are also trails on site behind the pasture that go to the creek. Master Suite $200 per night weekends(fri,sat, sun) or $150.00 PER night on weekdays. This includes breakfast. The suite comes with a full kitchen and two tiered deck with sunken hottub overlooking the mountains. Adjoining Room is $125.00 on weekends and $100.00 on weekdays comes with mini fridge and flat screen TV with satellitte(premier package). People booking the suite get it for an extra $100.00 per night

Upper rooms are: Queen room with mini fridge is $100.00 on weekends and $89.00 on weekdays. It includes breakfast and flat screen TV with Sattellite.

Two king rooms upstairs have adjoining rooms (adjoin by balcony) and overlook beachy area with white sand and palm trees and the 40x60 inground pool and also have great views of the mountains! These two rooms are $125.00 /$135on the weekends and $100.00/$110.00 on the weeknights. They come with a minifridge Flat Screen TV with Sattellite with premier package and Larger one has a fireplace.

B & B has two dining rooms, 4 fireplaces, large great room. It is cedar and stone exterior.

Cabins are Bunkhouse style. Two have two Queen size beds in the upper bunks and one lower Queen Bedroom and the other has two lower bedrooms and one queensize loft bed. They have full kitchens and are fully furnished. Dishes.linens and towels, toster,coffee maker, elect. can opener microwaves ect. All you need to bring is your clothes and food. Two of the cabins have dishwashers. Cabins rent for $100.00 per night on weeknights and $150.00 per night on weekends(fri, sat, sun)

All rates are per two people and a $10.00 per person per night fee is charged for additional people. This covers extra cleaning and the swimming, fishing, paddleboating ect that these extra people will be enjoying. Also Laundry facilities are free to all guests. Cabins sleep 6-8 people. Have cold air,fireplaces, Jaccuzzi tubs and great mountain views.

Rv's are 28-42 feet long and have 1 to 2 slideouts this makes them wider and more spacious. They all have full front decks that overlook the mountains and the ponds.
They start at $75.00-100.00 on weeknights and $100.00- $ 125.00 on weekends(fri, sat, Sun.) They are close to the picnic area's that have grills and tables.

There are two Rv hook-ups for self contained 30 amp Rv's(campers) They are $50.00 per night on weekdays and $75.00 on weekends.

We have two fresh water spring-fed ponds the larger has a dock with seating for fishing. Fishing is free to guests and is catch and release only.
Paddleboating is available and also Jon boats for fishing. There is a island in the larger pond for exploring!

The pool is aprox 40x60 inground and has built in jaccuzzi seats. A diving board and slide. Swimming is free to our guests.
There is no lifeguard on duty. All children under 18 must not be in the pool area unattended.

Horseback riding is available to guests for $40.00 per hour for adults and a childs ride follows for $20 per child. There are lessons available for $30.00 per hour.
These rides are held in the evenings. We have 16 horses of assorted breeds. We have western and English tack.

We also offer boarding for Horses/dogs/cats. Pets are welcome, but there is a $20 per night pet fee and they must be kept on a leash at all times.... See More

We are a small farm with several full board or lease options. Our barn stalls feature 12 x 12 matted stalls, fans, and daily turnout. We have several stalls with attached paddocks for individual and private use. Horses are fed twice daily and have access to hay 24/7. Horses can be turned out at least 8-10 hours a day or more if requested. Because we are a small barn we can tailor your horses needs according to your specifications. Farrier is scheduled every 6-8 weeks depending if trim or shod, or you may schedule your own. Vet and farrier expenses are owners’ responsibility.
