Horse Boarding in Tuckahoe, Virginia (Henrico County)

We have a small facility and provide excellent care. Lessons are available and we may offer a day camp in the summer and during school vacations.

Drinkwater Equestrian is a brand new facility in Williamsburg, Va. We have an 18 stall barn, each matted stall is 12x12 with an automatic water and Dutch door style window. We have a 130x230 lighted PVC fenced ring, four large turnouts and two smaller private turnouts. There is plenty of space to ride around the property and we are also minutes from a park with horse trails. We live on the property and take care of the horses ourselves. We take pride in the care we give our horses, my husband is a farrier and I am the hunter/jumper instructor and manager at Drinkwater Equestrian. We are open to all disciplines as well as having retired horses boarded. For an extra fee we will include grooming once per week and baths when necessary as well as hoof trimming for your retired horse. Misty Brook Farm offers quality boarding and Dressage training for horse and rider, as well as beginner lessons for horse enthusiasts. Several camps or clinics are offered throughout the year, for children and for adults. Horses are housed in one of two barns, have daily turn out in small groups (weather permitting) and can be exercised in the 95x300 outdoor arena (lights come on automatically at dusk). For the rider's comfort there is a lounge (climate controlled) a bathroom and a viewing deck. Westwood Stables is a 65 acre horse farm located off Rt 1 in the Fredericksburg/Massaponax area.

Facilities Include: Lighted Indoor Riding Arena, Large Outdoor Riding Arena, footed 55ft round pen, and plenty of space to hack out with trails. Tack rooms are air conditioned and heated. Both barns have wash stalls (hot water!). Bathroom located in main barn.

Westwood is a 16 stall facility and offers multiple field board spots as well as private field board. Trainer on site with background of hunters/ western pleasure/working equitation/dressage. Actively competing and showing monthly at schooling and rated shows with students.
