From lessons and clinics to training and judging services, Valerie offers a holistic approach with a strong emphasis on in-hand and ground work to foster balance and confidence in horses. As a saddle fitter and trainer, she provides a unique advantage in finding the perfect saddle fit for your horse, ensuring their comfort and well-being. From intro to Grand Prix, all breeds and disciplines encouraged and welcomed. Valerie has ridden internationally and had the amazing opportunity to train in Portugal. Having made her own horses and competing through FEI, Valerie offers the unique insights from developing horses from backing to Grand Prix.

At Sundman Stables we strive to maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for both you and your horse. We truly enjoy our boarders, and visitors. We work hard to make this a place that you will be proud to ride at and have your horse call home.

Individualized care is important to you and to us. We are an 18 stall horse boarding facility that offers 30 acres of well-maintained grass pasture for turnout. Whether you are a competitor or enjoy a quiet setting for you and your horse, you will enjoy our friendly, caring atmosphere. All disciplines welcome.

We are located just 15 minutes from Syracuse or 15 minutes from Auburn at 1695 Stump Rd. Marcellus, NY

Board includes:
Nutrena grain twice a day, including supplements purchased by owner
Hay fed four times a day
Turnout and turn in in lush green pastures with wood fencing
Blanketing and fly spraying

Stadium jump course.

Heritage Stables currently has stalls open and available for boarding. Heritage Stables is a hunter/jumper show stable offering full care boarding. Stalls are all 12'x12' with unlimited bedding. Heritage Stables offers a very spacious indoor arena (80'x200') with a heated viewing room. We also have two beautiful outdoor arenas (120'x350' and 110'x250') with a gorgeous view of Skaneateles. We offer daily turnout- horses can be put in a group or have single turnout. Heritage Stables also offers two full-time professional riding instructors from beginners to nationals.
