Mikenda Farm is a 40 acre full boarding facility offering instruction, training, boarding, youth programs, show coaching and hauling. We also have horses for sale and lease. We are convenient to East Orlando and Oviedo areas . Our facility boasts one of the largest in central florida area with 30 acres of grass pasture and 10 acres of riding area and the ONLY one with a riding track!. Simplicity Stables is a first class equestrian facility that has something for just about anybody interested in learning or continuing their hunter/jumper riding or western riding, whether just for pleasure or competition. We are not solely an AQHA barn. The staff has competed, trained and shown many years in the open USEF circuit hunters and jumpers. We offer boarding, training, sales and riding lessons for all ages. Our prices are competitive with all the area's other facilities, but we are confident our programs will give you or your child not only fun with riding horses but the education to do so correctly.
Our complete horse show schedule follows through all year with both the local level shows including GOHJA and Horseshows in the Park to the A circuit including HITS. We also attend the AQHA circuit shows with our horses in the Hunter, Lounge line, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Showmanship and Horsemanship divisions. Here at Simplicity Stables, we are very proud of our family-friendly atmosphere with a competitive edge. We promote safety first as well as instruct our riders in the traditional hunt seat riding.
