Stalls available for full, half, or training board here at Course Brook Farm! We are a full service eventing and dressage facility, boasting 60 beautiful acres and excellent individual based horse care! Course Brook Farm also welcomes equestrians and equines of all ages, experience levels, and disciplines.

**Half board is offered as a unique opportunity only for horses eligible for our half lease / lesson program.

Board includes stall cleaning, adequate bedding and fresh water daily, all day individual or group turnout, hay 6 times per day, grain up to 3 times per day, night checks, and blanket changes as necessary. Our boarders also enjoy amenities such as a heated bathroom and tack rooms, several outdoor rings, a large indoor with viewing room, USEA sanctioned cross country course, and access to miles of conservation trails right from the property. Full board is $1,250/mo.

3 excellent resident trainers are also available should you be interested in lessons or training for you and/or your horse. Save on lessons and training with our training board packages!

Heron's Crest Stables at Forge Works Farm is pleased to announce a new horseback riding lesson program for all ages and abilities! We offer small group and private lessons and we are not the typical cookie cutter riding program. Golden Moon Farm is a small horse farm located in the Douglas countryside, available for short term horse boarding and traveling layovers as well as riding in our outdoor and indoor riding arenas that can be rented by the hour, day or weekend and available to rent for equine events. We are a full board facility dedicated to creating a relaxed environment for horses and boarders alike. We only board up to six horses at a time in common turnout and specialize in natural horsemanship practices. We implement elements of the Association for the Advancement of Natural Horse Care Practices' (AANHCP) Paddock Paradise system, including 24/7 access to paddocks with differing topographies, varied subsurfaces, and widely dispersed feed stations utilizing ultra slow Hay Chix hay nets and ample first cut hay, so our horses can slowly consume throughout the day and night, more closely imitating natural grazing behavior. We set out more hay nets than horses, reducing competition and flashpoints for conflict, and the nets keep hay off the ground, reducing waste and preventing ingestion of foreign matter and pathogens. We provide access to clean, potable drinking water, including heated water troughs in the colder months, as well as a mineral salt block. We stall horses only during feedings (or temporarily at an owner's or veterinarian's discretion), when twice daily each horse receives whatever feed, medications, and supplements the owner instructs (all stocked at cost) and are likewise blanketed - or not blanketed - at their owner's instruction. We muck all stalls, riding areas, and paddocks daily, and deliver the consolidated droppings as composted manure to local gardeners. We feature a well-lit 55' round pen and 100' x 50' open arena on site for training and riding, both of which are kept clear during the winter months. Less than a 1/2 mile easy walk or ride down our quiet street (no trailering necessary), we have access to extensive riding trails in hundreds of acres of nearby conservation land in the Sudbury Memorial Forest and associated conservation areas. We have a team of local experienced equine professionals that we recommend - including a veterinarian, equine dentist, farrier, barefoot trimmer, and trainer - but boarders are also welcome to use their existing providers. We live on site, enjoy close relationships with our neighbors, and maintain security cameras, and as such are able to provide nearly 24/7 observation of the horses. We encourage boarders to treat the stable as their own; we have no limited hours of operation and all family and friends are welcome anytime, with a signed release if they intend to enter inside the fenceline. Amanda has been involved in the equine industry for the past 18 years as a horse owner, rider, competitor, manager, coach, and trainer. With riding background encompassing hunters/jumpers, equitation, western/english pleasure, eventing, competitive trail, dressage and driving, she is a well-rounded and open-minded equestrian, always in search of more learning! Amanda has worked with noted trainers such as Lainey Johnson, Susan Williams, Nona Bianchi, Gwenyth Santagate, Diane Marshall, and Melissa Tansey who are also some of the clinicians at FCE. Amanda is in charge of the lesson & training program at the barn and also manages the daily care of the horses.

Signal Rock Stables has opening for one Full Board paddock available but could accept 2 or more horses that are used to being turned out together and would occupy one paddock. We have plenty of stall space which we use during inclement weather – snow, ice, heavy winds, heavy rains in the colder temps. Seems like they come in more during November and March/April than any other time lately. My husband and I live on the premises and do all the care for the horses since 2014 when we switched to full 24/7 turn out with 24/7 hay in hay huts – either loose or netted depending on the horses needs. We find the horses are so much happier with this type of care verses being stalled nightly year round. They are occupied and active, with lots of room to move their legs. Our farm of 245 acres is in Charlton, MA where our primary income is from haying. We have 100 acres of well fertilized, soil tested hay fields and make over 12,000 bales of hay each year so we keep plenty for our horses needs. We are experienced horse owners and barn managers (over 20+ years each) and live on the premises. Horses are given 24/7 turn out in their own large grassy paddock (2/3 acre each) with run in sheds for 24/7 access to shelter. Paddocks have heated water tanks during the winter and we bring the horses in as needed to a large barn with matted stalls, 24/7 hay and heated buckets if needed. We provide individual care for each horse as we limit our boarding to 5 to 6 horses rather than the 14 we boarded here for many years. We accept horses that are well trained and either fully retired or are kept in reasonable work to be safe to handle and manageable. We enjoy having boarders to keep our horse company and because we love horses. There is wonderful trail riding on our farm as well as nearby state trails and a nice riding ring 66'x140', that is sand/shredded rubber mix for good footing/drainage and quick thawing in the winter.
