Monthly board is $350.00 and includes hay and grain, matted stalls that are cleaned out daily, daily turnout into large pastures or individual turnout, heated water buckets and fans, blanketing (changed when appropriate for weather or per owners instructions), daily fly mask application and removal, and fly spray application (spray provided by owner). Our barn features a heated tack room with individual tack lockers, wash tub, matted 10'x12' or 12'x12' stalls, and a large clean indoor arena. Hickory Knoll Farm offers boarding for sport horse owners in a heated barn. We have a heated indoor dressage arena, a 120 x 180 outdoor well fenced sand arena, a full polo field, and miles of trails. The trails are mowed bluegrass and are suitable for driving as well as riding. Instruction and clinics are available through G.P. level dressage. We have two openings for horse boarding. Large box stalls 11 x 13 to our smallest which is 10 x 11 feet. Stalls are all rubber matted and cleaned daily. Grain and hay is feed twice a day. Vitamins, soybean oil and worming are included. Our indoor arena is 60 x 150”. The indoor arena has excellent footing and the lighting is great. We have very dust problems in the arena which is great for horse and rider both. There are heated water tanks in the pasture with very safe fencing. Number of horses are limited to three a pasture. Limited trail riding is available when weather permits. We are a small family run stable. Only 12 horses are on the property. This means when you want to get some work done in the arena you don’t have to worry about a crowd. Horse transportation is available. Board is $235 to $250 a month.
