Horses for Sale or Lease in Alabama

For your consideration, a 15-15.2hh 2004 model black TWH gelding, Rudy, to an experience horse person and intermediate rider at no fault of his own. He is the kind of horse everyone who meets him adores. He is gaited but not professionally trained. We mainly stuck to the trails. We have competed in 3 NATRC rides and placed twice. I'm looking to rehome him to someone who will keep him in shape and on the trails. He has had loose stifles in the past, but when in condition, he has no issues. I would prefer he not be a pasture puff.

He has excellent feet. Front shoes are only for rocky trails. No issues other than minor thrush issues in the winter. Up to date on Coggins and all vaccines. Stands for farrier, vet, baths, and loads. No bite or kick. His teeth were floated 2 years ago, however he has been vet checked yearly and does not currently need a float.

Hes a very sweet boy but unfortunately it is not working out between us. Asking 800. I will also include some items that are his along with him. Benny is a 9 yr old 16.2hh OTTB gelding. Potential for jumpers, eventing, or dressage. He has been in light work for about a year with me finishing school. He has schooled up to 1st and 2nd level dressage and jumped 2’6-2’9 courses with scope for more. Would be best suited for an intermediate rider. Limited showing due to time. Can hack alone or with a group. Benny ties, bathes, stands for the vet, farrier, and for grooming. He is UTD on coggins, vaccines, and shoes. He currently is outside 24/7 with the exception of extreme temperatures or storms.
