Allison Cino operates Pyramid Equestrian, a Dressage and sport horse training, lesson, and sport horse sales business. Allison attended Lake Erie College in Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Teacher/Trainer, graduating in 2001 with experience in Dressage, Eventing, Jumpers, and Hunters. In 2011, she graduated "with distinction" from the USDF "L" judging education program and has numerous competition year end awards with the USDF, including earning her USDF Bronze Medal on her Appaloosa mare, Genuine Risk. She has ridden and schooled at the FEI levels and has a good eye for improving all levels of riders and horses. She has founded her training and lesson program based on the Training Pyramid. Like an ancient pyramid, it is important to build a solid foundation before it is possible to reach the top. Allison focuses on building a solid foundation for both horse and rider so that the upper level movements can be done with ease and results in trusting horses who are happy, willing, and sound partners for years to come.
Any level of rider is welcome, from the beginner through FEI, we provide a safe, positive and supportive learning environment. Although Allison's training and lesson programs are based on Dressage principles and theories, the proper position and foundation can be used to improve upon and enjoy any discipline. She is currently active in the United States Pony Clubs as an instructor, coach, judge and examiner, and 4-H as a Dressage clinician and judge.
