Christine’s passion for riding was born when she was three years old and first sat on a horse. She recently relocated from Southern California and is further pursuing her equestrian goals both as a rider and a trainer. Christine has had the privilege of working with elite Jumping and Dressage instructors such as George Morris, Kevin McGinn, Liz Denny, Pam Grace, Jan Ebeling, Steffan Peters and most closely Jason McAfee and many others. She has competed successfully both in local circuits and “AA” shows all over the west coast. In addition to furthering her own knowledge, her ambition is to become a successful International competitor.
Christine believes that going back to the basics, and focusing on creating a solid foundation is what forms successful equestrian athletes.
“My goal as a trainer is to create intuitive, relaxed, and confident riders, who dedicate themselves to fine tuning the details. They do so with the understanding that the silent partnership between horse and rider is a process. Patience and finesse is key in accomplishing any task from beginner to advanced riders!”
She is grateful for the opportunities that she’s had to work with some incredible mentors and trainers, and is excited to pass the valuable knowledge and passion along to other equine enthusiasts. Above all her goal is for both horse and rider is to educate and most importantly have fun!
In addition, Christine is a USDF (United States Dressage Federation) Bronze Medalist. She is also participating in the new USHJA Trainer Certification process, becoming nationally recognized for her accomplishments and involvement with the United States Hunter Jumper Association!
