Great Northern Riding Club / Horse Camp in Eagle River, Wisconsin

If you have a “Horse Loving Girl” we have a program for you. Lucky girls who participate in our summer programs actually live at the equestrian facility and spend all their waking hours with the horses. Unlike other camps where horse lessons are just an extra activity, here at GNRC– Horses are THE Activity! The girls spend ample time in the saddle daily, learn about all aspects of equine care, assist in the daily chores and running of the farm, and enjoy many other activities such as crafts, games, parades, fun on-campus horse shows and optional travel shows.

From the utmost beginner to advanced, we offer professional instruction and stress safety first. Our sessions are limited to 25 riders and we offer a very home styled atmosphere. Girls who participate in our programs leave with an informed understanding of what life is like when sharing it with horses & make lifelong friendships.
Some of our overnight sessions also coincide with Northwoods Hunter Jumper Circuit Shows which allows the girls an opportunity to showcase there skills learned at camp . This also allows them to be able to experience the world of horse shows in a very friendly, competitive and reasonably priced circuit.
