Horse Camps in Wisconsin

It's time to register for Kids Horse Camp at First Class Horse Complex! Six Kids Horse Camps will be hosted at the 92-acre equestrian facility which is located in Bristol, WI.

Kids Horse Camps are for beginning riders as well as kids who already know how to ride. Kids Horse Camps riders are rides between the ages of 7-17 who want to have fun learning about horses and riding horses all day. Horse camp at First Class Horse Complex is an ALL day experience! The Kids Horse Camps focus on horsemanship, horses and horse care. Our riders spend the entire day with horses learning horse safety, parts of the horse, horse psychology, horse health and horseback riding. Horses, grooming equipment, tack and helmets are provided.

The Kids Horse Camps which are available for all levels of riders are held on June 14-18, 2021, June 21-June 25, 2021 and August 9-13, 2021. The Kids Horse Camps which are available for returning riders or riders with approved previous experience are held on July 19-23, 2021 and August 2-6, 2021. Also offered for returning riders is a Winter Camp which will be held on December 27-29, 2021.

Kids Horse Camps take place daily between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm.

If your child has a desire to ride and learn about horses this is the camp for them. We offer smaller size camps with lots of horse related activities, individual lessons, group arena lessons that focus on building a balanced seat and for more advanced riders reining movements, trail obstacle, jumping and dressage. At Lost Creek Ranch the goal of our staff is to build self confidence and pride along with good skills both handling and riding horses. There is limited enrollment in each session so campers get alot of one on one instruction. We encourage a fun but safe environment. We want to offer an experience that the kids will never forget, new friendships with other kids that share their same passion for horses and nature, along with a better knowledge of being "partners" with their horse.Campers spend an average of 4 hours a day in the saddle! Our campers love to ride and are encouraged to try both Western and English riding. Advanced campers can learn jumping, showing, reining and western dressage. Pine Lake Pastures specializes in hunter jumper, dressage and gymkhana but we teach and compete in other disciplines as well. We are offering summer camps for ages 7 through adult. Classes will be divided by age and skill level. We will be accepting everyone from the very beginner who has never touched a horse through advanced competitors. Each camp session lasts 4 days Monday through Thursday. Both half day (12-4) and full day (8-4) camps are available. Full day camps will feature hands on care of your horse, learning what is involved with running a horse ranch, as well as 2- hour long riding lessons, a classroom session, and a daily activity depending on the age level of the campers. Situated on 40 beautiful acres, Flying S. Ranch in Grafton, WI offers children a summertime experience that will create lifetime memories.
At Flying S. Ranch Horse Camp, children ages seven and up learn responsibility, teamwork, and gain confidence through hands on activities with horses and fellow campers. Horse Days at Copper Leaf Stable are where horses, fun and horses meet! Day camp seesions are offered. There is at least one hour of riding daily, learning activities and games. If you have a “Horse Loving Girl” we have a program for you. Lucky girls who participate in our summer programs actually live at the equestrian facility and spend all their waking hours with the horses. Unlike other camps where horse lessons are just an extra activity, here at GNRC– Horses are THE Activity! The girls spend ample time in the saddle daily, learn about all aspects of equine care, assist in the daily chores and running of the farm, and enjoy many other activities such as crafts, games, parades, fun on-campus horse shows and optional travel shows.

From the utmost beginner to advanced, we offer professional instruction and stress safety first. Our sessions are limited to 25 riders and we offer a very home styled atmosphere. Girls who participate in our programs leave with an informed understanding of what life is like when sharing it with horses & make lifelong friendships.
Some of our overnight sessions also coincide with Northwoods Hunter Jumper Circuit Shows which allows the girls an opportunity to showcase there skills learned at camp .
