Alpena Horse Boarding / Horse Boarding Farm in Alpena, Michigan

We have room to pasture board one horse in Alpena. We do rotated pastures so there is always pasture until heavy snow fall and no need to buy hay until winter. We have one Quarter Horse mare, she is 20 yrs old and needs a pasture mate that isn't going to be picking on her all the time she is low woman on the totem normally. The rate is $150.00 a month and includes hay in the winter from about November to April when the pasture is ready again. We also groom daily and provide fresh water daily for your horse. We have reduced pasture board in exchange for being able to ride your horse, if you want to do the reduced board it is $75 and you will have to pay for your own hay in the winter. We can pick-up and store the hay for you. We get good quality 1st cut hay for 2.50-3.00 a bale, we pick up hay every two weeks. You are more then welcome to pick-up and drop off your own hay and we will store it. Right now we can only store about 20 bales at a time. We have a summer lean-to for shelter and will be converting it into a small barn before winter. About 20'X20' with 2 stalls for the winter.
