Though we are geared toward the roping enthusiast, all horses and riders are welcome. Our private, very peaceful boarding facility is loaded with trees and wide open pasture space and all stalls are covered and/or enclosed with outdoor runs for the horse who likes to move. Our full-size roping arena is complete with practice sled and 60 ft round pen for keeping your rope-horse fully tuned, and we offer daily "hands on" roping practices (instruction option) with legendary Champion Roper, Leo Camarillo; guaranteed you'll throw your rope. In addition to boarding, the roping academy offers private and semi-private lessons, clinics, and foundational courses (4- to 6-week sessions) based on safety, solidifying fundamentals of roping in conjunction with proper riding skills, and consequently progression. Leo also provides rehab/recovery therapy sessions for the roper athlete rebounding from injury. And for our 4-legged students rope-horse training; trainer-apprenticeship courses; and more.
