We are located in Elizabeth, Colorado.
Currently, we offer both stalls and pasture boarding. Our stalls are 12 by 12, bedded with wood shavings, combination of wood walls with bar fronts, sliding doors and dividers. We take excellent care of both ours and client horses. It is our first priority to give the same type of care to your horse(s) as our own. Stalls are cleaned twice daily. Our south stalls have runs with daily turn out as possible. Again, this depends on the weather and wind direction and clients needs. Our facility has an indoor arena and a larger outdoor arena. Our property is 120 acres, with one pasture available to ride in. Our area has quiet country roads if you prefer riding out.
Our feeding program can be customized to your horses specific needs/ program. Fed twice daily. Supplementation is furnished by owner and we will feed accordingly, at no additional charge.
As of January 1, 2012, Laurel (Caitlyn) Hanlon (daughter) started training professionally. Laurel started showing Paints in 2003 and after completing her Youth career, followed by one year of showing Amateur, she decided she wanted to progress to the next stage of helping others, sharing her knowledge. Laurel accepts finished/well started Paints and Quarter Horses into her program. She has a wonderful teaching style for youth and amateurs, for both seasoned show exhibitors and novices just starting out. She shows our Paints locally and nationally. We offer hauling to shows. Her training business is 5 Stars Performance Horses. Laurel and I enjoy the Paint Shows and her clients work hard for their successes-however, the enjoyment is an equal partner to make showing fun!
Occasionally, we offer clinics. Lessons available. Please call and visit with Laurel or myself, to schedule a visit and learn more about our facility, showing or lessons.
Our basic equine philosophy: kindness and mutual respect between the horse and the rider, leads to a well rounded relationship. Mel
