ArcherFarms is the largest and the most superior Hunter/Jumper Facility located only 6 miles from UF and the Santa Fe Campus, the closest of any riding facility in Gainesville. Owned by Sharleen Exler she brings over 35+ years of equestrian experience to the training/horse care program at Archer Farms. Roders at Archer Farms compete at Local,National and Internationla Level shows.
Sharleen is the origional founder of Archer Farms 18 years ago. She brings over 35+ years of training and riding expirience with her to Archer Farms. She is a certified trainer and has been the US Chef 'de Equip for the American Team taken to a 'Friendly' International Horse Show in Guatemala in 2011 & 2012. She starts all of the riders at Archer Farms and works with giving them a strong base to be able to accel at any level of riding they choose. From beginner thru Grand Prix levels
Retirement programs and layups are available for clients
The Farm itself boasts 45 acres and 40 stalls all of which are 13X13 with rubber mats, 19 indivdual grass paddocks, 2 riding rings one with GGT European Footing and one grass (Jumps in ring) that Sharleen changes courses and exercises weekly to help our riders achieve the best. Cross Country Jumps, mirrored regulation Dressage ring.
4 outdoor washracks, 2 indoor washrack with hot water, A/C boarders tack room, washer/dryer, 60ft round pen, access to miles of private maintained trails, 2 full time grooms to care for the horses (live on premises) coded automaic gate (for security).
