MiPonderosa Equestrian Facility / Horse Boarding Farm in South Lyon, Michigan

MiPonderosa is a privately owned horse boarding facility. There are 11 indoor 10x12 stalls. Daily turn out to large pastures. 3-4 horses per turnout or private turn out (additional charge). There are 3 dry lots for individual turn out.
10 pastures on 70 acres (all pastures have access to water and electric to prevent frozen water troughs. ALL horses are handled daily.
-Pasture board lots have run in shelter with electric in event a pasture horse needs to be on stall rest. Pasture board has (run in) feeding stalls to prevent food aggression. Pasture board includes free choice hay. Feed is 75$/month for 1 feeding 150$/month for 2 feedings daily.
-Stall board includes feed 2 times daily along with free choice hay.
Individually packaged supplements are added to grain per owners request.
Blankets on and off per request:1 blanket change per day included per owner request, daily blanket checks for rub areas. All stalls have an overhead circulating fan for temperature control and your horses comfort.
-Paddocks, pastures and stalls are cleaned twice daily.
-Several pelleted or textured feeds to choose from.
-Amenities list available upon request.

One hot water wash rack and one outdoor cold water area for bathing.
We use fly predators starting in April to prevent fly's.
-Heated lounge/observation room (refrigerator and microwave, Kurig), tack locker room and indoor bathroom (heated)
-We have the ability to provide specialized care if needed including a full list of amenities. (Additional cost may apply)
We are an Adult Facility and do not have a children's program.
The indoor arena is 60 x 120 and is groomed daily (dust free). All boarders have access to the arena.
Outdoor arena is 80x160.
Lessons and training available by Rebecca Bastianelli (Prism Dressage and Equine Services).
Your trainer is welcome and must have their own professional liability insurance naming MiPonderosa as an additional insured.
You are welcome to utilize your own farrier, veterinarian or other horse care professional, or we can provide suggestions.

-We welcome the inexperienced with an interest to learn how much joy being with horses can be. There are lesson horses and opportunities for lease or 1/2 lease horses.
Trailering to parks and staging areas is available. May be an additional cost.
There is no additional cost to keep your trailer on site.
