Rocky Top Ranch / Horse Boarding Farm in Spout Spring, Virginia

Rocky Top Ranch is a private family owned property open 7 days a week. Having been in the horse business for many years and as an owner of 4 horses I understand that each horse has he/her own unique needs. We offer individual attention for every horse, and will work with you to accommodate your horse’s needs.
We offer full, partial and pasture board on 62 acres located in Central VA in beautiful Appomattox County. Easy access from ST RT 460 and only 20 minutes from Liberty University and Sweet Briar College. We provide private or small group turnout. Multiple horse discount and discount for any referrals that use our facility.
7 stall barn: Each 10’x12’ stalls consist of 2x6 tongue and groove yellow pine boards, sealed for ease of cleaning and sanitizing. Fronts are 3” on center prison boards with sliding doors, all stalls are sawdust bedded and are cleaned morning and evening. Lights and individual fans in each stall with ceiling fans in the main aisle. Hot / cold wash pit, tack room and feed room.
Pasture boarding with large run in sheds, salt blocks and ample water supply. We limit the number of horses we board to prevent overgrazing of fields. We separate mares and geldings to avoid any conflicts.
The Ranch offers over 4 miles of riding trails, round pen and outside arena. Free trailer parking for boarders. Property includes two entrances / exits. 70’ wide entrance with drive thru to exits with no need to back up or turn around. 80’ from state highway to gate for truck and trailer, no parking on roadway for safety of owner and horse.
Provide clinics, first aid and wound care
On site lounge with work out equipment, pool table, full bath, TV, picnic table and outdoor grill.
We also provide transportation for all of you hauling needs with a 38’ Cherokee trailer that can accommodate up to 5 horses with box stalls. References provided from previous horse hauls.
