Thorpland Plantation is a private equine facility located in Yorktown, Virginia. At this time we are strictly a lesson and horse rehabilitation facility.

Here at Thorpland Stables we focus on beginner students and specialize in horsemanship, which is more than just riding. Horsemanship means learning skills and knowledge, and especially the attitude, feeling and responsibility for horses that makes a true horseman or horsewoman. In addition we focus on balanced seat, basic english and saddleseat equitation, but we welcome all disciplines and levels of experience.
