I am interested in working with clients for the long-term health and soundness of their horses. Consistent balanced trimming relieves strain and stress on ligaments, tendons, bones and soft tissue, and it contributes to soundness and enhances performance. I like consulting with clients about the centered approach I follow in my farrier work, which was founded on research into how horses self-maintain in the wild. The science that resulted from the wild horse studies has been expanded and refined for decades and is based on the practical applications and observations of farriers, veterinarians and scientists around the world. I am an equine farrier who cares for horses, ponies, minis, donkeys and mules. I service Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Washington, and Wright counties in Minnesota–and will travel outside of this zone for a travel fee and/or multiple equines in an area.

I offer balanced trims, glue on composite shoes, metal shoes (including a variety of pads and hoof packings), and therapeutic packages to meet varying needs of horses in my care.

As a former teacher, I highly value education and life-long learning. I’m a 2024 (fall) graduate of the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing and apprenticed for a year with two highly knowledgeable and skilled farriers in the area. Additionally, I am a member of the Minnesota Farriers' Association (MNFA) and the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization (ELPO). Since graduating from school, I have attended multiple conferences, workshops, and classes to further my knowledge and build my skills to benefit the equines that I serve.

I have been working for myself for 6 month on horses and almost 5 years on livestock (goats, sheep, pigs, cows, alpacas and llamas)! I also apprentice under an experienced farrier once a week!
