Since 1979 If Only Farm has offered quality boarding, professional training for horse and rider, and has hosted hundreds of shows, camps and clinics for riders of all ages. We are located in Freeville, NY just minutes northeast of Ithaca and Cornell University. If Only Farm is the proud home of the Ithaca College Equestrian Team who use our facilities, instructors and horses to hone their hunter/jumper skills and prepare for regional and national competitions. We are also home to many other riders of all ages and skill levels who lesson and train on our horses or those they board at the farm. Our facility includes two boarding barns with box stalls and numerous turn-out paddocks and pastures. We offer a number of boarding options and services to meet your needs and budget, and our experienced staff will ensure the proper care of each horse in residence. Riders have access to two indoor arenas, two outdoor rings, a round pen, and a 3-acre cross-country course. We have a numbe! r of quality, well-trained horses and ponies for sale and can help find the right equine match for you.

We also offer a wide range of farm services including scheduled and emergency horse transport, flat-bed service, welding, excavation, and horse facility consulting and construction. Bill Lowe specializes in fabrication of custom residential and commercial scale BBQ’s and Smokers.

Summer Riding Camp beginning July 5th. Mon.-Fri., 11:00 - 4:00. Each week consists of daily riding and grooming techniques. Horse related arts and crafts and group projects. Our facility includes an indoor riding arena.

A super fun filled, informative and inspiring combination of balance seat horseback riding lessons & clothing design/sewing class. Outdoor morning yoga 3x a week, ceramics & African dance, plus demonstrations from professionals on horsemanship and related topics.

Each session includes a field trip to the exciting HITS (Horse Shows in the Sun) showground and a fabric buying trip for design projects, all ending in an exciting BBQ dinner party with horse presentation and fashion show for parents and friends.

Set on 87 acres of serene meadows and Catskill mountain land, just 4 miles from the center of Woodstock, NY., Shady Farm is a peaceful, private horse farm with streams, hammocks, tire swing, and plenty of wooded mountainside to satisfy the nature lover in anyone.

Your child, 5 to 16/17 yrs old, will have daily, one on one horseback riding lesson(s), engage in horse care activities while learning horsemanship skills, and plenty of time to just chill out with fellow campers & the friendly horses and ponies at the farm. In addition, they will have daily lectures and practical work on approaching clothing design as an art form and skill. Design elements, sketching, draping, the basics of sewing by hand and machine, measuring, fitting, pattern development, cutting, sewing and finishing an original design are all part of this engaging program, unleashing each student's creative potential and opening the door to the exciting possibilities of this useful and fulfilling skill.

Together Reaching Out To Teens, LTD is a non profit equestrian outreach and therapeutic program for teens and offer adult community services. Description of our Service
Our sweet-natured and well-groomed pony will bring smiles to the faces of the children at your party. Pony rides at your event will provide the children with memories of happiness and enjoyment, laughter and fun.
We keep our prices affordable, so that everyone can enjoy pony rides at their party. The basic party price includes one pony for $150.00 an hour.
We have medium to large pony that can accommodate riders who weigh up to 85-100 pounds. Appropriate ages are 1-10+ years. Young children may need an adult or parent to walk alongside them.
In planning your event, the best idea is to have the pony rides begin 30 minutes to 1 hour after start of the event to insure that everyone has arrived to take advantage of the pony ride.
We are flexible and can adapt to any situation. Pony rides can be done in a backyard, long driveway, sidewalk, cul de sac, dead-end street, field, park, schoolyard, etc.

Sleepaway camp at Rosebud is a unique, riding-packed adventure where young riders can have a completely personalized, horse-centric summer riding the discipline of their choice. Our horses are in an academy setting year round and many have competed successfully at the top of their disciplines which means they are ready and willing to teach their partner a variety of skills and movements. Two riding sessions per day (personalized instruction in the morning and group riding in the afternoon) equals close to 3 hours a day in the saddle! Then when your feet are out of the stirrups you can spend time furthering your horsemanship skills in the barn (2 sessions/day), participating in water games, hiking, creating art, bowling, fishing or a number of other activities!

The second floor of the barn is where our campers call home for their session; it has several large dorm rooms that make up our version of cabins, each with its own private bathroom and shower, as well as a games/craft room with a stunning view of the property. Camp experience at Bylund Hill Stables includes instruction on basic horse care knowledge, safety, and horsemanship. Hands on learning and lots of fun! Horse riding lessons in our indoor arena out of the sun on hot days, our large outdoor arena with mountain views, our wood fenced grass fields or around the farm for a safe trail ride. Professional, seasoned trainers teach the lessons with assistance from several high school aged advanced riders acting as counselours. Our 12 safe and wonderful lesson horses accomodate beginners as well as more advanced students ages 5-12. Lessons are split-up according to age and ability level. We play games, go bareback and practice horse shows and serious riding as well. We can take care of any fear issues or new riders with our patience and understanding. In addition to riding our kids learn all aspects of horsemanship and horse related skils.
