Hillary Martin is located at the beautiful Rancho Viejo in Portola Valley, CA. Currently offering coaching and support through all levels with a training program customized for you and your horse to reach your goals. We offer full training, full grooming service, turnouts, four arenas (two full dressage court, a jumping arena, and a covered arena), and great trails. Trailer-In lessons are also available. Hillary has competed through Grand Prix, has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medal, and is a United States Pony Club Dressage “A” graduate. In 2007 she represented Region 3 at the NAJYRC. After three years training and competing in Germany, Hillary returned to the United States and qualified to ride in the 2011 Brentina Cup Championships in Gladstone, NJ. Michelle Haseltine has trained horses for over 20 years and has a holistic approach to developing a well rounded dressage athlete. She is one of the only trainers you will find who starts horses herself and uses long line training to develope the horse prior to being ridden. The horse must be developed gradually using the training pyramid and he must enjoy his job. White Horse Dressage offers several ponies and horses for the student to work with and progress through the levels of dressage from basic riding to Second Level on a seasoned retired champion.

Valerie has over 35 years working with horses starting with the United States Pony Club in Southern California in the late 1970's. This was an excellent foundation for a strong background on safety and good horsekeeping. She has taught for many horse camps over the years in Southern and Northern California and instructed many students in the art of dressage for a total of 8 years with happy and healthy clients and horses. She has won several regional championships and one state championship, plus taken young horses to the Arabian Sport Horse Nationals in Idaho. Her students score well at both rated and schooling dressage and breed shows.

Lesson Prices:
Under age 6 Pony Lesson: $20/ half hour
Private (ages 5 to 7): $30/half hour
Private (ages 7 and up): $40 if regularly scheduled weekly lesson
Groups (ages 7 and up): $30
Ladies Dressage Group - $30 (two hours, last Saturday of each month)

More than one lesson per week: $30 per hour

Leases available:
Half-lease: $250/month, 3 rides per week, includes one lesson.
