Instructor, Kati Kanton, works with students from all walks of life ages 5 -79 years old. She clearly helps riders work through the journey of learning ride and learn about dressage using a step by step process so it is easy to understand. She tailors her lessons for each individual rider. Everyone will have the opportunity to work through and overcome challenges (example: fear, building endurance) to reach each rider's goals. Good education is the emphasis in Kati's program. Not only does Kati go to educational events, she continues to take lessons herself. She always remembers what it is like to be a student. Kati encourages students to attend clinics, educational events offered through ODS/USDF, go to riding camps, or attend meeting with other horse enthusiasts. Kati has helped several students achieve success in the show ring as well. Several students have been Champions and Res. Champions at the ODS Adult Team Show either individually or as a team. Kati competes at USDF/USEF approved shows with her Dutch Warmblood gelding as well. Kati has participated in the USDF Instructor Certification Clinics.
