At Equest Show Stables we offer all forms of instruction, beginner-advanced, show or pleasure. We train up to the highest levels of competition in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. We attend most of the well known rated shows and we also attend the local schooling shows. Lessons are available on safe and reliable lesson horses and ponies for beginner-advanced riders of all ages. Whether you horse show or just ride for pleasure we try to inspire all of our students to be not only the best rider they can be, but also working with them from the ground up and teaching them the ins-and-outs of overall HORSEMANSHIP. Olympic and Pan-Am Medalists, Neal and Elisa excel in teaching the Classic American Forward Seat. Neal trained at Gladstone at the USET headquarters under Bertalan de Nemethy for many years, winning the Aachen Grand Prix TWICE and a bronze individual and Silver Team Medal at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. Elisa was also classically trained in Dressage and Showjumping and won and Individual Gold and Silver Team medals in the 1972 Cali Pan American Games in Show Jumping. Our students have been very successful in both national and international competitions with multiple wins at the North American Young Riders Competitions. North Windsor Farm LLC offers lessons for ages 5 and up beginner through advanced. Our horses are the best of the best as far as safety; they have done it all. Lessons are typically 1 hour and are tailored to each rider's experience. We do not jip rider's time on the horse. We also do evening lessons to accommodate those getting out of school and work. Chrissy began riding hunter/jumper as a young child and learned from many different instructors and horse trainers growing up. As a teen she worked with her sister taking care of 40 horses, many just broke and inexperienced, and she would teach them the basics and to jump. She would ride from sun up to sun down learning from the horses. She also rode with the University of Delaware Equestrian Team for 4 years. She has always gravitated towards working with troubled horses and spent several years as Assistant trainer at a farm that specialized in retraining the unfixables. She has taught & trained at many different farms throughout NJ, from upper level show barns to backyard farms. As an instructor & now in her 30s, she is known for being attentive, patient, encouraging and listening to students. Too often you see instructors on their phones, not paying attention, holding students back, or pressuring them to do things they are not comfortable doing.
