Facility offers - Large fully matted stalls, 2 Indoor arenas with new footing, 2 large outdoors with all weather footing, round pen, inside hot/cold wash stalls, laundry services, theraplate sessions, trails and more!

Board offers premium hay and grain 2-4x daily, individual or group turnout, deep bedded stalls cleaned 2x daily, supplements/medications fed (provided by owner), blanket changes, turnout prep (fly masks, bell boots etc), scheduling farrier/vet appointments all included for $650

Hello, I would like to take the time to tell you a little about myself and my training methods. I am 30 years old and have been around horses my entire life. It wasn’t until I got a little older that I started training horses. My first teacher was my step mom. I would help her train the horses to ride whether it was hot, green, and never ridden Thoroughbreds or mellow, mostly quiet, Quarter Horses. I loved and still love every minute I get to spend with those majestic, beautiful, intelligent, animals.

I believe that Mr. Clinton Anderson said it best “your frustration begins when your knowledge ends”. Which is why I’m constantly researching, learning, and training from numerous trainers both famous and not. I have studied many trainers which include but not limited to Ray Hunt (RIP), Clinton Anderson, Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, Warwick Schiller, Walter Zettl, Brian Nubert, and many more. Will Abel began his riding career at the age of 10 and quickly advanced through the levels in both riding and horsemanship. He started showing on the local AQHA circuits and branched out to NRHA, APHA, PtHA, and IEA throughout high school. A couple of Will’s biggest accomplishments were placing in the top ten and top 15 in the Varsity Open Reining at the IEA Nationals in 2016 and 2017. As Will’s horse-showing career progressed, showing the all-around became Will’s biggest passion, as he could exhibit the plethora of skills he had acquired throughout the years.

Will started training professionally in October of 2017. From then on he has found a love for colt-starting, coaching his clients to multiple regional titles with APHA, and bringing his clients from the ground up in a way that allows them to flourish in and out of the show pen.... See More

I lived on a thoroughbred breeding farm and started my breaking/training days with my parents at the age of 12. I now have my own farm McCormick Stable. I love to break, train and work with horses. I have restarted horses from ground up that only knew one speed (run). after a year of training I would take them to a small show to see just how the horse is doing with their training. I had one favorite She placed 1st out of 25 horses in trail class and 5th out of 20 in walk trot. If you have a young horse that needs starting or refreshing check us out. I have also worked with problem horses such as barn sour, loading, head shy, tacking, etc. I have delt with trust issues with horses but this I would prefer the owner to be present for trust issue training. It's nothing for me to gain a horses trust but it doesn't do much good if it's not my horse. In this situation I work with horse and owner. The horse has to gain your trust just as much as mine. He will be your life long partner and the bond and trust between you and your horse is the most important. The most important thing I do when I have a horse to train or work with is gain their trust. this makes for the easiest training method. once a horse has trust in his ridder/owner the horse will do what ever you want. I have different ways of working with horses. I have 2 personal horses that had major trust issues. one took a year to break all his bad habbits of bitting, kicking, trying to slam you into the walls. the other was head shy to the point you couldn't even get with in 10 feet of her more less try to get a halter on her. after 2 months of nothing but hands on work I could run my hands on her face and body. after 6 months I was able to hold her head in my arms and craddle her head. I work with each horse on their own level. I do not push the horse more then I think it can handle at a time. I take it one step at a time. I want to help you and your horse become the best team. I will work with any breed. But I do ride western so all my training is done western. If you are local in surrounding areas I can travel to your farm but I will have to add gas into the rate.
