Will Abel began his riding career at the age of 10 and quickly advanced through the levels in both riding and horsemanship. He started showing on the local AQHA circuits and branched out to NRHA, APHA, PtHA, and IEA throughout high school. A couple of Will’s biggest accomplishments were placing in the top ten and top 15 in the Varsity Open Reining at the IEA Nationals in 2016 and 2017. As Will’s horse-showing career progressed, showing the all-around became Will’s biggest passion, as he could exhibit the plethora of skills he had acquired throughout the years.

Will started training professionally in October of 2017. From then on he has found a love for colt-starting, coaching his clients to multiple regional titles with APHA, and bringing his clients from the ground up in a way that allows them to flourish in and out of the show pen.... See More

Hello, I would like to take the time to tell you a little about myself and my training methods. I am 30 years old and have been around horses my entire life. It wasn’t until I got a little older that I started training horses. My first teacher was my step mom. I would help her train the horses to ride whether it was hot, green, and never ridden Thoroughbreds or mellow, mostly quiet, Quarter Horses. I loved and still love every minute I get to spend with those majestic, beautiful, intelligent, animals.

I believe that Mr. Clinton Anderson said it best “your frustration begins when your knowledge ends”. Which is why I’m constantly researching, learning, and training from numerous trainers both famous and not. I have studied many trainers which include but not limited to Ray Hunt (RIP), Clinton Anderson, Pat Parelli, Monty Roberts, Warwick Schiller, Walter Zettl, Brian Nubert, and many more. I have even done research on YouTube watching videos of other “unknown” to the public yet trainers. I pride myself on being prepared for any problem big or small.
