Our horse boarding facility offers a lovely and peaceful environment for both you and your horse. We are a small gaited private facility. We offer 24 hour turnout on lovely grass pastures with small numbers of horses on each pasture. We have a beautifully sited outdoor full size dressage arena with all weather synthetic footing. We also have a lovely WE or Working Equitation course. The WE obstacle course is designed for anyone that would like to teach their horse how to navigate trails, a dressage test, or a jump course and uses classical principles to do so. It is an extremely effective way to build confidence for riders and horses. WE is a very old sport in Europe and quickly gaining popularity in the states. Besides being a challenge to horses and riders, it's just plain fun! We also have a 50' round pen and numerous trails both on and off the property so there is no need to trailer your horse every time a trail ride is desired. This property is part of the original Woodford Hunt and boasts lovely land for a ride around the beautiful hills of Woodford County. Our tack room features individual lockers to keep you tack clean and safe. Our tack room is also heated during the winter months.

The Owner/Trainer lives on the premises and has a clear view of every pasture from the residence, so you can be assured that your horse is safe and cared for by an experienced professional.

Our riding program focusses on centered, balanced riding from beginning to advanced students of all disciplines. We have talented horses available for lease to serious students. Discounts are available on lessons when purchased as a monthly package. We offer a stress free environment for the competitive or recreational rider.

We are a small, private 12 acre farm that train and compete in combined tests, dressage and eventing. Are you looking for a more natural self-care boarding situation for your horse, but not full pasture board? We are a small horse boarding farm on a scenic 20-acre property in the Fern Creek/Floyds Fork area in Louisville. All horses have access to stalls in a barn that open onto state-of-the-art dry-lots. Daily turn out in grass paddocks alone or with other horses as weather, pasture condition and the horse's needs allow. The dry-lots allow horses to be outdoors as much as they want and be more sociable and mobile rather than standing in stalls most of the time. Stalls have rubber mats and electricity for fans in summer and heated buckets in winter. There is storage for tack, feed, hay and space for trailer parking.

120' x 60' outdoor arena, round pen, trail obstacles for training and a trail around the fields and through woodlands on the property. We work cooperatively with horse owners for happy, healthy horses and provide an alternative for owners who prefer that their horses are not confined to a stall most of the time. 8 Maples Farm is small, family owned horse farm north of Simpsonville, Kentucky and close to Louisville. Located less than a mile from Shelby Trails Horse Park, we have 4 separate paddocks of varying size with trees, 9 stalls, run-in shed, and 2 round pens located on 11 rolling acres.

We do this on our lovely Lismore Farm which provides us with a 120 x 210 outdoor jumping and dressage arena, a large indoor arena, 24 stalls, a heated tack room, a hot and cold wash stall, washer and dryer and over 100 acres to ride on.
