Horse Boarding in Waterford, Wisconsin (Racine County)

Dover Stables is a family friendly, drama free indoor/outdoor horse boarding facility. All horses and riding styles are welcome.

We are on 56 acres with a stable, an indoor arena (60 x 200)with heated viewing room, a 100 x 200 sand based and lighted outdoor arena and a 3 acre, 23 foot deep pond with a beach, great for swimming alone or with your horse! Also great fishing-bluegills, bass, crappies...We also have a 5/8 of a mile track with a groomed limestone base that is fun to ride at full gallop or at a leisurely stroll around at dusk.

The stable has 40 matted stalls (12 x 12 and each one has a window), 3 over-sized "birthing" stalls also with windows. Also 8 of the stalls have doors for direct turnout in to the paddocks. There are 4 wash stations w/ hot and cold water, a laundry room, lounge with kitchenette with WIFI and 4 tack rooms.

We currently have 10 small pastures (1/2 to 1 acre), 2 large pastures (10 acres each), 4 dry lots and 2 round pens. The pastures have shelters and auto waterers.
We feed high quality hay "on demand" so the horses have hay in front of them all of the time. We feed grain morning and night to the indoor board horses and morning only to the outdoor boarders. Up to 3 pounds per day of Kalm & Easy is included in the board.

Our outdoor board is $325 per month and indoor is $500-includes daily turn out weather permitting.

DBTS is a full service equine facility. Our primary focus is Arabians, Half/Arabians and National Show Horses, but will start and train any breed at any level. We offer boarding, training, conditioning, sales, marketing and a full lesson program for you and your horse with training specialties in Hunter pleasure, Western pleasure, Country English pleasure and Sport horse under saddle. WE ARE A NON PROFIT THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS!

WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL at this time. We are a private boarding barn with 9 stalls, available at $200 monthly. Horses are put in stalls in inclement weather only or at your leisure if want to use the stall to grain or groom your horse. We provide stall cleaning and shavings. Quality hay fed 2x daily, 2 horse shelters, electric fencing, pasture turnout, hitching post, tack room, 60ft round pen to be installed summer 2024, 2 area parks within 4 miles for actual riding trails. 2x yearly worming routines added to board when the time arises. Regularly scheduled farrier visits every 6-8 weeks, spring shots and coggins with johnson equine services and falls shots and dental with kettle moraine equine. These are available for you to join in on if you board with us, but we will need the money beforehand for the farrier visits unless you plan to be there when the trims are being done. Lazy S is a multi-discipline facility located off of Loomis Road in Muskego. We have stall board currently at $265/month and pasture board currently at $185/month. There is a large indoor arena and a large outdoor area with some trails on the property. Stall horses are fed hay/grain twice daily with supplements given at no additional cost. Pasture horses receive a weekly rotation of round bales and have access to a large barn during inclement weather. All horses have full access to grass pastures throughout the Summer months. Some of the other amenities include our heated lounge with bathroom, television with cable tv, individual tack lockers, use of Fly-Predator (very helpful for the Summer) and a regular de-worming program. All boarders are welcome to bring in their own trainer as long as they provide their own insurance. Lazy S is a close-knit facility where we all look out for each other. Hickory Grove Farm is a small boarding facility offering box stall (14) and outdoor board (6). Stalled horses enjoy all day turn out in pairs or small groups. They also enjoy spacious paddocks, choice hay in the winter, and pastures in the summer months. The outdoor horses live in a small herd on a plentiful 10 acre pasture. The facility itself offers indoor and outdoor arenas, wash stall, and tack room. Our neighbor has trails and we are a short 10 min. drive from the Southern Kettle Moraine.
