We are a quiet barn located off of hwy 31. I've grown up running barrels and in the rodeo environment. My boyfriend grew up showing western pleasure, and currently trains/breaks, and starts rope horses. We have 4 open stalls, once barn is done there will be 13 total. We have a sand arena and roundpen, Also many miles of trails. We are also offering riding lessons, from beginners all the way up to what we do. Also have spots open for monthly training. Third Generation Ranch is a full service Facility located in Wilsonville Al. Lauren Henny and Ramon Figueroa are both owners and trainers here at Third Generation Ranch. Lauren has years of experience training and showing all breeds of Horses, Ramon is a third generation Paso fino trainer and has won numerous National and International titles.
Here at Third Generation we offer training for all breeds, from starting to finished horses for a verity of disciplines. Our goal is not only to train horses to be willing and respectful partners but their owners as well. “No matter what discipline you chose or direction you take the Foundation is the Same”. We strive in training our horses to be light, responsive, achieve true collection, and become brave and will partners.

We also offer Boarding-limited stalls available, Riding lessons, Training Horsemanship Session – where you bring your horse out and we work with them and you, Full Obstacle course with obstacles ranging from beginner to advanced, Open obstacle days – you pay a flat fee for a day per horse to use our obstacle course. We host and attend all Alabama Obstacle Challenge Shows.

The barn is new that has Stalls with open style with rubber mats, automatic waters, Dutch windows with great ventilation and natural lighting, ceiling fans in each stall. full board includes Basic medical care provided if needed, blanketing, daily turn out in new paddocks with more to come, stalls cleaned twice daily always with fresh clean shavings, hay and Purina feed for optimum health. We are a private full-service boarding facility that offers Private 30 minute or Private one-hour lessons, leasing, training, rehabilitation, elder/hospice care. Our Training Board is $1600 a month, Full Board is $950 a month, Show/Rehab/Hospice Board is $1,200 a month and specialized pasture board is $750.

Our facility features 12 stalls in our show/training barn, we provide individual tack lockers per boarder. We have a separate barn for our schooling horses and lesson program with its own tack room. We offer two wash stalls with hot and cold water and a washing machine to keep your necessities clean. We offer a 20/40 meter small dressage arena in front of our show barn as well as well as a full sized 20/60 dressage arena at the top of our property with beautiful views of the valley. We have a huge jump arena a round pen and a cross country field with great terrane changes. We have 4 grass filled pastures and 5 shade paddocks so our horses have the best of both worlds grass at night and shade in the heat. We feed high end textured feed and timothy/orchard grass hay.

We offer boarding to all types of horses and riders. We are home to Grand Prix dressage horses to gentled wild mustangs and everything in between. We have an array of farm animals to keep your horses well desensitized and a pack of dogs who keep our farm animals safe.

We do things differently at GKM Equestrian, you don't just come get on a horse. You'll learn how to properly groom your horse with all the necessary steps to keep them and you looking your best. Next you will learn how to correctly and safely tack up your horse or pony. You will also get to experience many different types of saddles and bridles used in other riding disciplines. Our students are competent and knowledgeable about horse care and safety which allows their learning and riding to blossom with confidence. We are a small, dedicated professional equine facility, so we go for quality not quantity and don't crank out a lot of lessons each day. This ensures the horses' good health and a slow pace that riders can actually enjoy their lessons and get to know and love our equine athletes.

Most of our students are schooling lower-level dressage and beginning the foundation for jumping. Some of our students are of our boarders have competitively shown in mid to upper-level Dressage. We also have some Hunt Seat riders with impressive show histories. We own several school masters for the upper-level riders to enjoy. We also play around with the working equitation as is provides some fun challenges to our horses and riders.

We are conveniently located to Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Homewood, Irondale, Trussville, Leeds and Moody. We are a 20-minute drive from downtown Birmingham. I have a $550 full stall board option for those of you wanting the horses to be in 24 hours with limited turn out while stalls are cleaned includes my feed , grass and alfalfa hay, and deworming. Regular Stall board is $400 per month includes my feed, grass and alfalfa hay and deworming. Pasture board is $300 per month includes my feed, grass and alfalfa hay, and deworming. I deworm them every 3 months at my expense. I will bring stall boarded horses in during bad weather situations and blanket them (you provide the blanket) , all horses are fed on the same schedule , pasture board horses eat outside and stall board are brought in to eat and turned back out.
