Runaway Farm is a unique horse boarding facility. The farm is located on 140+acres in Columbia, CT., 20 minutes from UCONN and 15 minutes from ESCU. We offer flexible boarding options, affordable lessons, and horse leases (we have a few horses that are looking to get leased out with flexible and affordable leasing options!). We welcome riders of all levels and ages. We have western riders, dressage riders, jumpers, eventers, and beginners! We also offer children lessons!

Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and relaxed atmosphere for all riders and horses. We all work together to help each other reach our goals, dreams, and desires!

Are you searching for a place to board or just looking for a horse to lease? Are you and your friends looking for a fun place to ride? The farm is on over 140 acres of land and horses are turned out 24/7 with access to grass pasture. We have trails located on the property, outdoor lighted arena, and we even have a cross country course in the works. We love to go to hunter paces in the fall and we usually attend at least 3-4 each year, and we also like to hold clinics a few times a year with various trainers and disciplines!

Situated on over 30 breathtaking acres, KB Equine is a training and lesson program proudly situated at Morgan Manor Stables that provides top tier boarding, lessons, and training. Our amenities are sure to provide a comfortable environment, along with our professional staff's dedication to providing a clean, friendly, and professional environment to enjoy your equestrian activities.

We offer leases and lessons on our wonderful schoolmasters that are safe for all levels of riders. Some of our horses are schooled up to 3rd level dressage, and we also have horses that jump.

Our lesson programs have been designed to ensure each student develops a strong understanding of the fundamentals of riding and horsemanship. Each new rider will learn to handle, groom, tack up, and properly cool out and put away their own horse, along with equipment care and maintenance. Our goal is to make sure every rider can one day be fully independent.

In addition, our programs are set up to ensure success of the more intermediate and advanced riders. Our instructors focus heavily on goal setting. We allow each rider to set and think about their goals. We do not value show goals over other goals! We also do not require any of our students to show.

Our head instructor has a passion for bio-mechanics and teaching the 'why' and 'how' of everything. If you feel like you riding education has been lacking, or there are things that don't make sense to you, allow us to help make clarity for you!

Just under 20-acre facility located in Columbia, CT is offering individualized care with owners on site. All disciplines welcome! Our farm is quiet/low key with a friendly atmosphere. Our philosophy is that every contact with your horse is an opportunity for growth and learning. We have a very clean and secluded 10-stall center aisle barn built in 2012 (rubber mats, tack room, office/viewing room) and 13 paddocks with run-in sheds, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, modular round pen, grass fields and seasonal grass turn-out, trail system on property (under construction) or a short walk to airline trails. We offer riding lessons (Dressage, English/Hunt Seat, Western), therapeutic riding sessions, ground training lessons, a summer riding program, working student opportunities, home school program, Active Military, Veterans and First Responder programs; adult education series and new horse owner seminars. We are located 10 minutes from the CT shoreline in the rural area of Killingworth CT. We offer a variety of options: 10X12 heated stalls w/interlocking mats, 10X10 stalls with individual paddock for 24/7 turn out & 200X100 pasture/run in shed. The140X60 Indoor riding arena & the 180X172 outdoor riding arena footing is prepped daily. We have more paddocks then we can count as new pastures are added yearly so we may accommodate our horses in groups or alone.
