Boomer’s Landing provides horse boarding (full, partial and pasture care), offers both English and Western riding lessons and operates weekly overnight horse camps in the summer.

We are a full service facility nestled in a beautiful country setting of large oaks. Beautiful private wooded trails along a flowing creek, very scenic. Forty five plus acres that intertwine for your riding adventure. One of many facilities that actually has private trails. This is a great experience for show horses as well. Large indoor arena 60x 100 Large enough for parties, camps and events.
Large outdoor lighted arena offers riding enjoyment during summer nights. Large stalls, concrete aisle ways, shower/wash racks. Several training pens. Turn out pastures, some dry for those wet days. Clubhouse for relaxing, lunch, parties, events, clinics, educational groups and tours. Experienced Staff is very knowledge of many equine breeds for training and show or just to have better communication with your horse. Staff on premises for complete care. Our horse boarding facility offers a lovely and peaceful environment for both you and your horse. We are a small gaited private facility. We offer 24 hour turnout on lovely grass pastures with small numbers of horses on each pasture. We have a beautifully sited outdoor full size dressage arena with all weather synthetic footing. We also have a lovely WE or Working Equitation course. The WE obstacle course is designed for anyone that would like to teach their horse how to navigate trails, a dressage test, or a jump course and uses classical principles to do so. It is an extremely effective way to build confidence for riders and horses. WE is a very old sport in Europe and quickly gaining popularity in the states. Besides being a challenge to horses and riders, it's just plain fun! We also have a 50' round pen and numerous trails both on and off the property so there is no need to trailer your horse every time a trail ride is desired. This property is part of the original Woodford Hunt and boasts lovely land for a ride around the beautiful hills of Woodford County. Our small family farm has room for one or two boarders. We are located 2.6 miles from the heart of downtown Versailles. The property has full perimeter fencing, a nice Morton barn, heated automatic waterers, and a schooling/riding oval.

HORSE BOARDING OPTIONS

>>> Full care: This is basic pasture board. Includes daily feeding and handling. Grain is included. Hay is included with winter surcharge. We will hold for farrier (board cost includes one trim monthly). We will hold for vet during maintenance visits (semi-annual checkup and additional vaccination visits). You have use of the riding ring and tack/feed room. Additional services available as needed (blanketing, feed supplements, dedicated stall, trailer parking, broodmare vet appointments, foal watch, etc.) with associated fees. $495/month ($645/month in December/January/February/March)

>>> Self care: Pasture plus dedicated stall. You provide all daily handling and pull-up/let out. You provide grain. You purchase any hay fed in stall. Hay fed in field is included with winter surcharge. You have use of the riding ring and tack/feed room. Additional services available as needed (temporary daily care, trailer parking, broodmare appointments and foal watch, etc.) with associated fees. $295/month ($445/month in December/January/February/March)

They each have a run-in shed, some tree canopy from trees outside the paddock, and a heated automatic waterer. Easy access to the barn and riding arena. We rotate paddocks, so mares, foals, and retirees may be paddocked together or separately.

>>> Riding oval: This is a 200' x 100' grass oval paddock right next to the barn. We use it for riding and schooling.

>>> Wood fencing: The full farm has four-board wood fencing.

>>> Barn: A 5-stall barn offers room for hay storage plus a secure tack and feed room with climate control. Dedicated stall available. No worries about mice: Two barn cats are on the job!

>>> On-site owners: Farm owners live on the property. We'll watch your horse the same as we do our own, and let you know if we see anything unexpected.

>>> Available resources: We work with a trusted local veterinary practice. We have a well-regarded farrier. We have a horse-care provider to cover vacations or other absences. We use a local hay grower with amazing hay. We feed McCauley Bros. grains (made 2.9 miles away!). As a boarder, you may choose to join us for these services or use your own providers.

>>> Location!: At only 2.6 miles from the Versailles courthouse, 3.5 miles to Horse Cents, 3.6 miles to Woodford Feed, and 10.2 miles to Keeneland, we're convenient!

If it sounds like a place you'd like to keep your horse, let's talk. We are looking for ONE boarder only with one or two horses. Because your horse(s) will be pasture-mates with our own horses (a young broodmare and a retired mare), we are accepting only well-mannered broodmares or retirees. We require Coggins and health certification, plus up-to-date vaccination records. First month board plus last month board are required before move-in.
