We specialize in Western riding lessons for everyone, plus horsemanship, teamwork and games. We offer trail rides on our property for those just getting the hang of it, plus advanced trail rides for those who are ready for the hills and streams! We also provide boarding facilities including daily turnout, three large riding rings including one covered ring for year-round riding. We specialize in children's Western lessons but offer lesson packages for all. We are thrilled to provide therapeutic riding, and we host pony parties! Affordable Horse Boarding available in the upper northwest corner of Westchester County, NY just 2 miles north of Peekskill train station. Conveniently located 50 minutes north of NYC. $1,000 per month for full care includes:

Large well-groomed 80x240 indoor arena with Magflakes.

Large well-groomed 100x200 outdoor ring.

Trails out back of property into New York State Park.

Recently renovated barn interior aisles with 12x12 bright airy stalls with dutch door windows.

Daily turnout 8-16 hours a day. Individual and small groups with seasonal night and day turnout available in one of our 14 paddocks.

High quality timothy/orchard grass hay fed 4 times per day.

Grain fed am/pm.

Supplements fed when provided by owners.

Stalls cleaned daily seven days per week.

Mountain Valley Farm is a place where a horse can be a horse. We have 1500 gorgeous acres of pastures and 16 stables. We offer rough board and full board, completely customize-able. We also have access to 4000 acres of trails for you to ride on.

Equine Boarding and Rehabilitation

We offer a variety of boarding options for trail riding, retired horses and horses recovering from injury or illness. We accommodate a maximum of four horses at one time to enable us to provide close personal attention to them. The horses enjoy 8-10 acres of pasture with 3-rail oak fencing, run-in stalls and sheds and automatic, heated waterers. There is plenty of grass in summer and we provide free choice hay in the winter. The horse barn has four stalls as well as a washing area with heating lamps.

Very reasonable boarding fee includes daily grain with medication and supplement feeding, free-feed hay in winter, fecal egg counts, deworming as needed, fly control and hoof trims.

There are extensive trails available for riding directly from the property. A round pen is available for use as well.

Retirement / Turnout / Lay-up Boarding

​Full turnout is catered for in large paddocks with automatic waterers and access to a run-in shed. When boarding with us, for your convenience, Dr. Tina can provide selected routine veterinary services and supervision.

Rehabilitation Boarding

​If your horse has been diagnosed with a musculoskeletal injury that requires layup and monitoring, Dr. Tina offers acupuncture, chiropractic, laser and other services to assist in recovery from the time of diagnosis until work under saddle is possible again. Restricted turnout in paddocks of varying size appropriate to the stage of rehabilitation.
