Cornerstone Horse Farm is a retirement boarding barn specializing in senior horse care. The 30 acre facility has a 4 stall barn that is currently under construction (June 2018), several run in shelters, and a rotational grazing pasture system. Pasture board is available now and stall board will be available once the barn is complete. Both boarding options are full service packages. For pasture board this includes a ProElite grain ration, orchardgrass hay when grazing is limited, a deworming program and regular barefoot hoof trims. Supplements, medications, flymasks and blanketing services are included if provided by owner. Stall board will include all of the pasture board services with access to a stall for feeding, inclement weather, or a 12/12 turnout schedule. Each stall has a dutch door with an individual run to encourage more movement even when confined. ProElite grain rations can be either Senior, Diet Balancer, or Starch Wise depending on the calorie needs of each horse, and hay pellets are available as an add on for horses with dental problems. The farm is a quiet relaxed atmosphere where the horses graze or lounge in the shelters at their choice. Herds are small, typically 3-6 horses, with a maximum of 6 boarders at one time to ensure individualized attention.
