Horse Boarding in Calypso, North Carolina (Duplin County)

We are a private farm offering boarding and training - located minutes from downtown Southern Pines. Horses are provided with 12x12 stalls with pine shavings and individual turnout. A small number of horses on our property allows us to offer customized care. Lessons are available for riders and horses of all ability levels. Full care includes feeding top quality orchard and orchard/alfalfa mix up to four times a day and individual grain and supplement feeding to suit what is best for your horse. We have a beautiful sand and clay based arena with brand new jumps, ample pastures, and over 30 acres of manicured land for hacking and fitness. Our farm offers a professional and friendly atmosphere for riders of all ages. We live on the property and there is an equine veterinarian on the premises. White Star Farms has horses and riders competing in three-day eventing through the two-star level. A school horse is also available for children's lessons. We are close enough to haul or hack to the foundation. Current coggins and vaccinations are required as well as signing an equine liability release.... See More

Full Stall board is $800/month. Full Board includes a clean stall, high quality grain and hay, turnout, water, use of facilities, trailer parking, and blanketing/fly sheet changing and much more!
Handling for vet/farrier appointments are available.
Grooming packages available.

We have 13, 12x12 matted stalls on a concrete center aisle with windows, LED lights. and are complete with fans for the summer. Hot/Cold wash stall, large climate controlled tackroom with lockers and a half bath for our boarders and a washer/dryer. We have wifi in the tackroom/lounge area that also powers our video security system. Large riding field solar lights available for night riding along with a full course of jumps.

Our owner/trainer specializes in teaching/training hunter and equitation riders and horses but also has experience in jumpers and lower level eventing. However, we welcome any discipline of horse and rider. We are a great barn for someone that likes a small, drama-free atmosphere. We are very conveniently located less than a mile from the Carolina Horse Park that is full of activities year round! 15 minute drive to the Walthour Moss Foundation.
