Oasis Stables in Hartville, Ohio is a premiere boarding facility nestled in a private lot of 50 acres. Conveniently located less than five minutes from the heart of Hartville, our facility is a rare find! We have six extra large stalls that measure 11X16ft. Each stall has its own blanket bar, fold down stall front bars and full half barn door window. We also offer a heated wash rack, secure feed room, and a wood paneled, heated tack room complete with carpeting, refrigerator, coffee maker, unlimited tack storage and a Bose audio system through out the whole barn. Our outdoor pastures provide multiple locations for turn outs on lush pasture. Each turnout pasture has a permanent lean-to with automatic waterers and even hay racks. Our large outdoor arena has a pristine sand footing and four large lights for riding at night . Lana purchased the neighboring property to increase turnout and expand the useable space for her horses and riders. We offer boarding,training and lessons on your horse or a school horse. Our scenic location allows for easy access to major highways. Students have the opportunity to compete in Dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers or just relax on nearby trails. We approach the welfare of horses and riders in a holistic fashion, treating each as an individual. With an emphasis on correct biomechanics for both the human and equine, we strive to educate riders on how control and awareness of their body allows for high quality movement and clearer communication between rider and horse, as well as an increase in the quality of their daily life. Unmounted lessons for riders are offered using exercises from Pilates, Yoga, Feldenkrais and the Alexander technique. Lessons can be video taped for review with the instructor right on the property. Our farm provides a relaxing environment for any aged horse ranging from a young active equine to the retired equine. We treat each horse as their own and design high quality forage based diets. We strive to create a horse safe environment and put the horses needs first. Horses get out daily with daily stall cleaning.
