We are a small trail riding barn with access to the ocean and views of the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond. We offer private stalls 11x12 with daily turnout in large group paddocks. We have a large outdoor arena, tack room, lunch room, grain room, hot shower for horses, bathroom, full time help to feed, grain, blanket, clean stalls and paddocks. We are a small barn with only 12 spaces, and we share our facility with the Park Service who have three horses in addition to PRC’s, so there’s always someone to ride the magnificent trails with that knows the area.
Our weather is something of an enigma. During the winters our trails dry out over night and we have very few days we can’t ride, the rain seems to pass us by. In the summer the fog helps keep the temps pleasant but the sun always breaks through by mid morning. There are no FLYs! It’s an amazing home for the horses and a great community of riders. Stonepine Equestrian is located one mile beyond the Carmel Valley Village at the site of the historic “Double H Ranch.” It is comprised of 407 gated, acres with 3.5 miles of groomed trails. Disciplines for riding opportunities include dressage, hunter/jumper and western pleasure. The upper barn includes eleven stalls, two wash racks, a euro walker and access to multiple trails and arenas to perfect one’s showmanship. The lower barn includes eighteen stalls, five turnouts, two grooming stalls, two wash racks and numerous tack rooms.
