We are a professional, yet friendly, horse farm providing excellent care, and riding lessons for all levels, in Newtown, CT. We are not a high pressure show barn, but provide excellent quality instruction for reasonable rates. We want our students to learn and understand the basics to establish a firm foundation to build upon. Safety is first! We do not rush kids to canter and jump until they are adept enough at the lower levels to do this as safely as possible. About Boarding at Crossroad Farm Riding Academy:
Nine stalls, an indoor heated wash room, tack room and grooming area with cross-ties. During the summer months, a fan ventilation system provides cooling and comfort for the horses in the stalls.

Hay is provided three times a day, and grain is given in the morning and evenings. Waters are changed daily and monitored throughout the day.

Horses are turned out on a daily basis in individual paddocks, as well as in one large grass field.

The stalls are fully equipped with a surveillance system for complete around-the-clock care and monitoring of the horses’ well-being.

The farm is fully gated and owners are on-site to ensure the best possible care is provided to the horses.
