Run in barns are kept bedded with wood shavings.

Second Wind Farm LLC is a fully equipped horse boarding facility located on 80+ acres in Thompsons Station, TN. We are located off 840 approximately 15 minutes south of Franklin, TN, 30 south of Nashville, TN, and 30 minutes east of Murfreesboro. We have openings in our newly renovated 12 stall barn as well as our pastures.

The barn is equipped with a heated tack room with individual tack closets, wash racks, bathroom and lounge. We have two arenas. One for English events and one for cattle and speed events. We have on-site instruction for both English and Western disciplines. We are located on 80+ pristine acres which gives ample room to ride without leaving the premises.

We specialize in team roping, barrel racing, ranch sorting and trail riding. Transportation to events and shows can be arranged as well as full service trailer care and repair.

Full board includes daily turn out, grain, free access to quality hay and fresh water, daily stall cleaning, full use of facilities and assistance with farrier and vet care. Pastures are carefully managed to provide optimal grazing all season. Grain options are available for pasture boarded horses.

Riders Up Farm is a quality horse boarding facility located in College Grove, a quiet rural town 30 miles south of Nashville. Our primary focus is excellent horse care specializing in the care and feeding of thoroughbreds, Arabs and other "hot" breeds. New arrivals are carefully introduced to compatible pasture mates in one of many grass covered paddocks. Horses are always placed in groups of twos and threes in our safe, Centaur fenced paddocks.

Custom diets are offered, featuring many grain choices. Horses are provided generous quantities of hay produced on our farm, which has been tested by UT Extension-Institute of Agriculture. When you're at work or away, you want to feel confident that your horse is safe and happy. Our experienced staff treat the horses as members of the family. The owners live on site and conduct a thorough daily night check.

Our large paddocks with four board fencing and run in sheds accommodate all the horses while turned out. Depending on the need of the horse, they can have as much turn out as they require. GKF has 16 stalls, 10 paddocks and 3 pony sheds. Most stalls are 11x16 or 11x12. GKF has 2 tack rooms, 2 wash bays, and several grooming stalls.

GKF's large arena hosts a full jump course by Fuzzy, and an all weather footing that is maintained for year round enjoyment. In addition, a seasonal jump field is erected in the lower acreage for open field jumping.

Ample open areas and trails for out of ring work are also available.
